Update on My Journey
Hi, Wanted to share two things: 1. I booked a 1:1 30-minute call. I'm hoping to get some practical advice and also ask a few questions that I feel would be better answered via a call rather than this community. 2. I finished Copywriting Fundamentals & The Creative Strategist's Handbook. What shall I do next? Shall I focus on practicing and building sample portfolios? Or shall I focus on client acquisition? Also, which module should I watch that focuses specifically on client acquisition? Thanks!

@Nabeel Azeez yes I did. 14th October 8:30 AM EST.
We will pay you to get your case studies
We will pay to run your ads and send your emails. AND you will get paid a recurring commission for any new members your work brings in. Now we've got rid of all the freeloaders I can focus on making your time here more valuable. Everyone knows the hardest part about starting your copywriting career is getting your first client win and case study. And it's the part that takes the longest because you have to: - Get good enough to be able to deliver work that has a chance to win - Convince a business to take a chance on a copywriter with no experience - Deliver the work - Make sure they use your work and do it correctly - Make sure they tell you the results And even if you get a business to agree to give you a shot, that doesn't mean you'll get your first case study. You might have to go through this experience several times before you get your first client win. So we're going to cut that time to PRETTY MUCH ZERO. Here's how: - We will allow paying members to create ads and write emails promoting Copywriting Launchpad - We will spend our own money to run your ads and send your emails to our list - When we run one of your ads or send one of your emails, we will use your referral link so you get a commission on any new members who sign up Conditions: - Only current paying members are eligible - You have to be a paying member for more than 1 full month, that's 2 billing cycles - You have to deliver complete ads. We will not pay for any graphic design or video editing. We will only pay for the ad spend - Ads and emails have to be reviewed and approved before we use them. It's the same process as getting your copy critiqued. You post copy in the community, we give feedback, and you revise until it's useable What to do if you're not eligible: - If you're not a paying member, upgrade to paid. This applies to legacy Copyskills members too. I recommend the annual subscription because it's 50% off and you'll save $300. - If you're a paying member and this is your first month here, use it to get good at creative strategy and email copywriting

Love this! I'm 5 days into my membership but I'm going to spend the time learning and implementing. Hope this offer is valid a month from now!
Routine For Success
Hi, Couple of days ago, I decided to go all in on Creative Strategy. However, currently I'm overwhelmed. I want to divide my time into 3 parts: 1. Consuming content 2. Practicing my writing 3. Client acquisition I'm trying to balance this along with a full-time job and family. This leaves me with 3-4 hours on weekdays. Here are my questions: If I had to set certain KPIs for myself every single day, what would be a good metric to ensure that it will help me succeed if consistency is taken care of? If I give 2 hours for consuming content, 1 hour for outreach, and then 1 hour for practicing - is that good enough?

@Nabeel Azeez Noted. Going to finish them ASAP and report back. Thanks for the feedback!
3 Types of Copy & My Reflection
I started with copywriting fundamentals and half way through the first module "3 Types of Copy", I had a realization. Most of us are too quick to get into action without actually perfecting the fundamentals. I've had 2 years of experience writing sales pages but I never looked at it from the perspective of "3 Types of Copy" Just wanted to share this thought. Before you rush into action, perfect your fundamentals. What has been your aha moment being part of this community so far? Would love to discuss and learn.

Sales Pages & MRR
Ever since I got into copywriting, I've been obsessed with writing sales pages including VSLs. The issue that I'm facing now sales page is mostly a one-time thing compared to email marketing. How do I package this specialty in a waythat it brings in MRR?

@Nabeel Azeez I really like that advice. If I'm starting from scratch, I might as well put myself in the best position possible right from the start. I'll follow the modules as you suggested. For future reference, Which module focuses on landing clients?
