AI automation
What's one AI automation project that taught you more than any course or tutorial?
Ai
What’s the fastest way to go from learning AI automation to actually building and deploying your own AI system that can handle real business tasks like emails, scheduling, and workflows?

@Warren Jiang That's awesome. Seeing an agent improve itself on a schedule must have been a pretty wild moment. My first automation project was [your project], and what made it click for me was realizing how much repetitive work could be handled without constant supervision. I'm curious about the software-building loop you're working on now what parts of the development process are you automating?

@Pascal Berlik That's solid advice. I think a lot of people get stuck trying to build something impressive instead of solving a problem they actually experience. Out of curiosity, what was the biggest challenge you ran into when building those first automations, and how did you get past it?
"There's always a bigger fish."
- no idea who qouted this Yesterday, I met a friend in college who's been in the agency space for the past three years, mainly running a video editing agency. We exchanged words and I realised that he knows a lot more about the agency space than I did. Coming from a school where no one really understood AI and not even a little bout the agency space, I felt that I was the "ONE" 🥲. It also brings the quote "if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room." And now I know why it is. There's a whole mountain of knowledge for me to learn and being with people(IRL) in this space is what I wanted. Not like its necessary, but its awesome to have it. #college #agency #AI #VideoEditing #quotes

Good realization. The moment you feel like the smartest in the room is usually the moment your growth slows down. Exposure changes everything.

@Andrew Frazier Exactly. A lot of people see it as a hit to their ego, but it's actually an opportunity. Being around people who are ahead of you compresses years of learning into months. 💪
#AISChallenge - Day 4
So by mistake I skipped day 3 and will have to go back to that one. Since I completed day 4 I'm still going to post out of sequence. While following Nates instructions, Claude threw me off by listing Serpapi while I was initially using Tavily. During this process I noticed that it gave me a comment section inside the planned step. Once I made the comment and ran it, it updated. I jus thought this was a cool feature. Next up, my deploy was just a simple run of industry news. I didn't deploy it since I was just testing it out. My next build will be an agent I can use and go further with. For now, just putting everything together before I put it in action in my main folder.

Interesting about Claude switching between SerpAPI and Tavily did you notice any difference in output quality or just workflow change? Also sounds like your next agent build is where things get real.

@Krystal Code Makes sense. Cost usually ends up being the deciding factor, especially when you're testing and iterating. Have you found Tavily reliable enough for most of your use cases so far, or are there situations where you'd still consider paying extra for SerpAPI?
Find the Process Nobody Has Automated Yet
Don't build anything today. Find one industry where people still waste hours every week on manual work. Ask: • What do they do repeatedly? • How many hours does it cost? • Has anyone automated it yet? The best AI opportunities aren't where everyone is looking. They're hiding inside boring workflows nobody questions. 👇 Drop one industry and one painful manual process in the comments.

Interior design: manually qualifying leads from website forms, Instagram DMs, and inquiry emails. Firms spend hours every week sorting serious prospects from price shoppers. Huge opportunity for AI-driven lead qualification and follow-up.
