It’s Thursday night at 8:30 PM. A potential client DMs you this backdrop and says: “My decorator just canceled on me. My event is Saturday at 5 PM. Can you recreate this?” You are technically available. BUT… They need the full backdrop setup. You don’t own everything needed to recreate the exact design. You would have to purchase or source a few items Friday. They tell you their original decorator was charging $500 and ask if you can stay around the same price because they have already lost money. What are you doing? A. Taking the job and making it happen. B. Taking it, but charging a HEAVY rush fee. C. Offering a simplified version using only what you already own. D. Absolutely not.
