Has anyone using liquid nutrient solutions, namely GH Flora series and specifically in the bottle of micro, ever encountered fuzzy green and whitish mold growing in it, floating on the surface? @Chad Miner My son's plants are huge and they were doing fantastic and suddenly, one of them started to die, and the rest are following. Today he found this in his nutrient bottle.

For everyone augmenting their reservoirs with air pumps and stones, which pumps have you found to work the best and last the longest? Where did you purchase your pump and other supplies? Which air stones do you prefer?

Asking questions...
When I was young, someone once told me something I've never forgotten. It was true then and it is still true today. They said, "The only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked." They went on to explain that others may have the same or a similar question, but they don't have the courage to ask out of fear...maybe the fear of ridicule by others as being stupid or of being in the spotlight for that moment. In my opinion, the person that asked the question isn't the one who is stupid.

Additionally, every question deserves to be acknowledged, even if the answer is, "I don't know, but that's a great question!" or "I don't know, but I would be happy to help you find the answer."

@Mike Gutmaker I garner the courage to ask my question by remembering that others may have the same one, and once I've asked it, I then continue asking other questions until I fully and completely understand the topic of the original question. Sometimes the person relaying the information doesn't explain the topic clearly or in a manner that makes things understandable the first time nor in the way they answer the first question. Not everyone processes information the same way. It explains why one of my college professors told us on the first day of class that you don't fully learn and understand until you see it, hear it, read it, do it and teach it. Each method of exposure to the information stores it in a different area of the brain. If the method of explanation isn't relatable to how you best process information, you will have difficulty understanding it, for example hearing topical jargon full of numbers and data when you are a visual learner or you are unfamiliar with the jargon; or the speaker is talking rapidly but doesn't use any visuals and you can't process fast enough to keep up because you need to hear it and see it at the same time. My follow-up questions tend to be asked in a way that lead to an answer that fills in the gap, paints a picture with descriptions or vocabulary I know and understand. (That's probably why my posts and comments are the way they are...to make sure what I'm saying is clear and understandable to everyone!🤣)
