Is it true if you take the top off your basil it will grow busier

We have to buy our R.O. so, after noticing that our well water had an EC of 0.3 we decided to give it a try. Well, let's just say that starting with an EC of Zero is much easier in the long run, as we've been chasing the EC & pH from the get-go. So our question to the community is if you use an R.O. system, what kind do you use?

Someone told me the other day lettuce has very little nutrition .... now I need to think of what else I can grow.

Where do you all keep your opened seed packets? I have stored mine in an airtight container in the fridge and now they are not germinating. Hmm wonder if it was wrong to store them in the fridge

We certainly have been challenged in keeping up with life during the busy season, much less this community. We're back on track now and have made a healthy decision about snacking --- LETTUCE straight off of our 2 tower gardens. Now, each time we walk by we snag a piece of lettuce and tell the plant, "Thank You!" A practice we highly recommend.
