Fasting for health!
Jesús is ending his FAST! He has been fasting since June 30th, and he’s fasted for over 120 hours. 😮 What do you think is the first meal he’s gonna have coming out of his fast? Let us know.👇

Probably his favourite food dish because I know he cooks!
House is too hot?
If you don’t have a villa, and are unable to move to cooler rooms in the summer (like the ancient Romans), what do you do? Jesus and I have just been through an insane heat wave here in Spain, and it’s not been the first here in Europe. As heat waves become more common, we want to remember how to deal with them best so we can sleep at night! Many people in Europe don’t have air con. That said, considering that most homes have windows and DO absorb light/ heat, and some of us are oriented toward the west, what do you do to block out or reduce the light coming into your home? Jesus and I chat extensively about things we do to reduce the impact of the heat not just at home, but also while we’re out and about. Check out our conversation (link below), and please share with our community YOUR advice to keep your home and family cool as we experience these climate challenges. Tasha~

The ac is on in my house. I don’t think I would be able to survive without, so u thank God for the central air. It does tend to be cooler in the living room area and basement is really cold! Heat rises so the bedrooms are less cold, yet comfortable. It’s just very hard when we go out and specially for a walk which we do love to do now that the nice weather is here.
The wrong clothes!
Did you catch that? In hot weather, it’s better to wear dark clothes indoors. Why? Jesus says that because we emit light, that light turns to heat, and when we wear dark colours, the fabric absorbs that light and heat, which helps our body stay cooler. He goes on to explain that wearing loose clothing is important to stay cool too, and that rules for clothing outside where the sun hits us, are different. What tips do you have for staying cool during intense heatwaves? Share with our community below, and let’s support each other. Check out our complete conversation on how to stay cool in the comments below. Tasha~
