ONE AI PERSON SHOULD NOT DO EVERYTHING ALONE
One thing I realized recently is quite a few people who are hiring "AI PEOPLE" have no idea what we do. They expect that you hire one person and that solves all of their problems. This also comes into light in how they expect you to "charge" for your services. If you are going up for a consultant gig or even an AI Executive role, it has to be made clear that expertise in subject matter still matters. Just because AI can do something doesn't mean it should and not all AI execs or consultants have the same experience. Taste comes into play and knowledge in areas is still very much important. We, as ai orchestrators and solution architects, still have teams and tastemakers in areas that don't fit within us. Now if you DO have expertise in every area, you should still charge for those pieces of expertise and knowledge separately.

100% ...... I like to put people into three categories. Those early in their career who can devote every waking hour to this and might not have the experience. The middle group of people who have had careers and expertise who need to manage and mentor the early career folks but also get help from them to get everything pushed in the right direction and those late in their career who can invest in the technology, but might not be able to learn as much. I would not count out that middle group, because they have knowledge and taste with use cases that are very much needed

I wouldn't call them middle management. I mean people who are just pushing papers are gone in this new world if they don't learn how to operate and deliver. But people with taste and experience are still important. Just having access to information and a way to build things that don't need to be built isn't too helpful. It will be important for hustlers to gain experience and the experienced to start hustling, not just slide by anymore

5 Days of Fable: Custom Communications
I've challenged myself to create something new with Fable 5 every day until July 7th. Last year, I had the opportunity to be a mentor for a group of high school students and train them on a creative thinking process and building a pitch. The week before the students got to the camp, I went through the creative training process myself and me and a partner came up with a way to help our community with communication. Here's the thing. In our particular community, we have so many things going on. So many events, organizations, clubs, sporting events, guest speakers, etc. However, all of this information is scattered all over. We get emails, find announcements on kiosks and TVs, and hear about them in person from gatherings. Most people don't even check their email. The TVs rotate with so many announcements that you can't write down the ones you want. And ultimately, all of these sources are bloated with things that don't apply to everyone. What if there was a way to only get the announcements you want in the way that you wanted? That's what our custom communication software intends to solve. People will be able to sign up with a community, link preferred communication methods, and subscribe to only the services that matter to them. Core features: - See all clubs, organizations, subscriptions, etc. - It's as simple as click to subscribe, and click to unsubscribe - Whenever your subscribed organizations post an announcement, it will come directly to you via your preferred communication method (I would prefer a text) and be available on the dashboard - People in the community can create their own organizations for people to subscribe to - You will not see any notifications from any service you haven't subscribed to

@Brian Berbati New here, but not new to AI, spent 20 years in entertainment (TV, Film, Commercials, VFX) then moved into Tech to be an AI consultant......ended up moving back to consult for media companies. Been following Nate for years now, but finally popping my head in :)
HOW TO SET YOUR PRICE (Without Underpricing)
Quick question for anyone selling a skill or service here โ€” Are you pricing based on what feels "safe," or on what it actually costs your client to stay stuck without you? I ask because I made this mistake for months. Priced low because I was scared of hearing "no." Turns out low prices don't get you more yeses โ€” they get you clients who never value the work. The shift: talk about their pain first. Let them feel the cost of doing nothing. THEN bring up your price โ€” by then it feels small. Would love to hear how others here think about this. What's your pricing philosophy? Questions :- 1.any addons ? 1. 2. how you set price of your work ??

@Muskan Ahlawat I usually focus less on pricing and more about hearing out their problem and what their budget is. I always let the client "anchor" or give the price first and let them know I can work around most budget levels. Then I organize a solution and I call myself a solutions architect around their budget while saying there is a bronze, silver and gold, sometimes platinum. Give them a perfectly usable solution with bronze, but offer a gold which is top notch for another time if they needed. Nobody ever goes for the silver, but either they want the best or something usable.
If you sell to B2B!
I used to think booking more meetings meant buying more tools. Every week there was a new "must-have" app promising more leads, better personalization, or higher reply rates. My stack kept growing... but my results didn't. Then I stopped chasing tools and started building a system. Now every tool has one clear job, and together they create an outbound engine that runs with minimal manual work. Here's the stack: 1. Claude Code Runs ICP qualification, lead scoring, AI reasoning, and deep personalization. 2. Apify Scrapes LinkedIn, Clutch, G2, and other platforms for highly targeted prospect data. 3. Apollo Builds lead lists, finds decision-makers, and provides verified contact data. 4. Smartlead Launches cold email campaigns and manages replies from a unified inbox. 5. Sales Navigator Finds decision-makers and companies showing buying or growth signals. 6. Aimfox Automates LinkedIn outreach safely from the cloud. 7. Fathom AI Records sales calls and generates AI summaries with action items. 8. Cal.com Lets prospects book meetings without the back-and-forth. 9. InboxKit Creates and manages Google and Microsoft mailboxes for outbound. 10. RB2B Identifies companies visiting your website so you can follow up while interest is fresh. 11. MillionVerifier Verifies email lists to improve deliverability. 12. Linkup Enriches company information directly from their websites. 13. Clay Adds extra enrichment and personalization data to every lead. 14. CloudTalk Handles outbound calling with a cloud-based phone system. 15. AdsPower Safely manages multiple LinkedIn profiles for outreach. The biggest lesson I learned? The advantage doesn't come from owning the most tools. It comes from connecting the right tools into one repeatable system. That's what turns outreach into a predictable client acquisition engine. Which tool in your outbound stack has delivered the biggest ROI? #ColdEmail #B2BOutreach #LeadGeneration #SalesAutomation #AIAutomation #RevOps

In 2019 Ben sold his company and followed his passion towards A.I. and the use of those tools in the creative process.
