1. The fear I have about picking the wrong man is: That the choice will not be correct; that he will not be a man of true religion and faith. The idea of discovering that this man was not as I expected him to be truly terrifies me. 2. The skill I would need to feel confident about that is: Actually, a combination of many skills. The fear I mentioned makes me always think that I must be at the appropriate level for the person I hope for. It is a challenge for me to develop and be like him. As it is always said: instead of wishing for a good man, work on being good yourself and having the qualities you love, and he will come to you as you want. What I ask of Allah is not difficult for Him, subhanahu wa taala, but He will not give me what I want unless I am worthy of it. So, I am now in a stage of development and growth. Indeed, my life has changed recently because of a duaa I made one day sincerely from my heart. I have become closer to Allah and I started seeing many messages and lessons, thanks to Allah. 3. One question I wish I knew how to ask a potential spouse is: Do you truly know Islam? Are you truly a believer? Do you truly know Allah as He should be known? Do you contemplate the Quran? What is your purpose in existence? Why did Allah create us? Why will we have children if we get married? What is your mission here? Do you know your religion and your Prophet?

@Layan B thank you Allahuma ameen for you too sis ๐ค, i was like you .sharing so much . but now i feel overwhelmed and some of guiltyness after doing that .i don't know if you can feel it haha . and sometimes i just feel tired . when you talked about fear and your struggling with it, I knew it, i felt it . because iam in that journey too, in different periods in my life. Thank you so much for talk about yourself, because That was helpful in some way ๐ท can I ask you a favor please ๐ฅน could you tell me about the webinar today how it was, i came so late. and because when I saw the prompt i knew that is really important for me , it was about my biggest fear in my life related to my desire in marriage and finding a husband. One way I have been unconsciously filtering OUT good men is by thinking that there's no longer man like me like my mentality like my conservative family. i was thinking that is impossible to finding by myself, it's totally the work of Allah and this man will find me just like how I am without doing anything to find him. This week I am going to try approaching this by trying to accepting the idea of working on it in somehow, first by being here ๐ท
