-How many clients do you want: starting 1:1 now, would like 2-3/day, mon-fri. Eventually would like live classes with 20/week. -What is your price point: 3 months for $2500 and 6 months for $4500 currently. Want to eventually be at $5k for 3 months. -What would you like your coaching business to look like: flexible, informative, and supportive. -What would you like your life to look like? Flexible, with freedom to travel, while still helping people shift into their true selves. -How would you like feel every day? Fulfilled and having purpose. - How many hours would you like to work? The live class twice a week would be ideal, but to get their, I don't mind 3-4 hours/day.
I am bored...
I came across some notes I took from a business seminar I attended over 20 years ago and one of the sentences I’d underlined was, and I’m sure you’ve heard it before: ‘Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life’ I reflected on that, twenty years on from having written it … I’ve been in the coaching industry since I was 16 and over the last decade, I’ve helped thousands of coaches to grow their coaching businesses. All of them have heard that quote, but where does that fit in to the success of their coaching businesses? What’s the difference between the coaches that make it and those that don’t. What do really successful coaches do that most don’t. We all have to learn to be a better coach. We all have to learn to run a coaching business. We all have to learn marketing, sales and operations if we want it to be successful. The truth is after that, once you know those things, the success of your coaching business will come down to one thing. How you deal with the boredom of running your coaching business every day. We talk about loving what we do, being passionate about it, really wanting it, etc. When we find ourselves going off track, we look at other coaches around us and think that their success is because they can dig deeper into that love of what they do. I’m no different to any other coach, you included. I sometimes feel the same lack of motivation as you. To stay motivated, we need to look for new challenges that push us and at the same time still make progress with what it is that we are doing. We need to experience that newness so that what we’re doing still provides us with satisfaction. Without variety in what you do, you get bored, and it’s that boredom that is the greatest threat to the growth of a coaching business. The difference between the coaches that succeed and those that don’t is that they still are able to do what’s needed to be done, despite the feelings of boredom. To master coaching or sales or marketing requires practice.

@Melanie Starr I agree girl! I had to start working a "normal" job again bc my husband is losing our insurance. BUT I am still going to keep on focusing on my own business. I am looking to combine everything into one business. After I coach people, I can help them get back into the dating field and build a community from there with events :) I am trying to ride this wave.

@Fiona Evans I also feel like boredom can also be a way of changing HOW I am doing something, but for the better. I have changed my structure multiple times just by learning new things. But I also love to learn new things all the time - both good and not so great :) I look forward to the day of hiring help!
