Intention
Early Risers
If you get up before it’s light outside - give me some tips!!! I have only ever been a morning person on vacations or trips but I am really trying to motivate myself to do my thrive30 and cardio in the morning! I work m-fr 8-5 as an NP, I occasionally have lunch 🫣 where I go for a walk to decompress! I am trying to give myself grace, 4 mos PP, I haven’t missed a thrive30 in 3 months since I started and I am so close to 40lbs down but I am struggling! I want for myself to take time for myself so I can snuggle my 4 month-old and 2.5yo a little longer in the evenings!!! So if you have any tips on how you summon the courage to do something you’ve never been successful at send them my way!! 🤍🫶🏻

I wish there was a quick fix for this ! Best tip- accept it’s a transition. You can’t go 0 to happy morning wake up workouts. Start slow with small steps. Start getting used to getting out of bed a little earlier , then earlier with x goal to get done. Then a little earlier and increase the goal of what is done. Etc etc. And best tip - be consistent. Even on weekends when you could sleep in. Get out of bed the same time or within 30 mins of your goal wake up time to get the routine and habit !
Didn’t want to but did it anyway
Dragging butt lately… this morning my alarm went off and the last thing I wanted to do was get up & do my thrive30… but I got up & did it anyway! Hopefully I snap out of whatever this funk is I’m in soon bc I’ve been driving the damn struggle bus in the slow lane & its quite frankly pissing me off!

Sammmmeee this week has been a strugglllee. I didn’t want to get up. I did. But skipped thrive 30 today and just did cardio because my body was 😴

GIRL YESS ! Light fruity - chop up some watermelon , add a little water, scoop of clear ( strawberry limeade ). Blend. Freeze. Creamifyyyy. Fairlife Protien shake. A tsp of sugar free jello powder ( dealers choice) Sams has a strawberry Protien shake. I just did that with some strawberries blended. Froze that. 😋 Orange sorbet- peel and divide up clementines. Fill container. Freeze. Do nothing to them. And then just use sorbet option. Those are my typical rotations. Use any milk / protein powder you want and have fun with it. If it’s terrible try again 😅
Weekend Balance
There was a lot of unplanned moments this weekend. Both kids had sport events - Maverick got his purple belt and Noella did her first gymnastic showcase! So we were out and about and did more eating out than we usually do. I did not stress or panic- always keep meat sticks in the car and I enjoyed the time while making healthier options focusing on high protein. Wasn’t perfect but it was balanced! Didn’t get up to move this morning, needed some sleep, so after the showcase I had Andrew drop me off at the trail and I walked the 5 miles home. Making it work and finding time !
