Growth Boost Public Service Announcement
I’m a huge fan of collaborations, JVs and affiliate marketing. I believe in building Know, Like & Trust with your COI (Centres of Influence), ICP (Ideal Collaboration Partners), ISP (Ideal Speaker Partners) and IJVP (Ideal Joint Venture Partners). Yes, I apparently collect acronyms too. 😂 Done well, collaboration creates better resources for your members, more opportunities for everyone involved and revenue opportunities you probably couldn’t create alone. But there’s another acronym we need to talk about: ROI. And this is where I personally have concerns with the current Skool Growth Boost model. Growth Boost is an interesting idea, but community businesses aren't just about acquiring the customer. There can be months or YEARS of nurturing, teaching, connecting and serving after someone joins. That matters when an affiliate relationship potentially follows future purchases. WELCOME TO BOB’S HAMBURGERS Imagine I join Bob’s Hamburgers Skool community because I want to build the greatest food truck burger known to humanity. Bob has an amazing community. Free training. Paid programs. Weekly Hamburger Drops. Maybe even an IRL mastermind where Bob personally caters. Bob is nurturing the heck out of me. One day, Buzz from Lightyear Corporation sees one of my posts inside Bob’s community. Buzz thinks: "Hey, Kevin’s IMPACT EXERIENCE Community looks interesting." (Here is the direct link - IMPACT COMMUNITY) He clicks my profile, visits my About page and joins my community. Great! Except Buzz didn’t use my direct invitation link. He went to my About Page. So, depending on how that acquisition is attributed under the Growth Boost rules, the economics of future purchases can look very different than you might expect. And this is where my concern begins. If Bob introduced Buzz to me through years of community building, I can understand Bob participating in the economics. But an ongoing affiliate fee going elsewhere because of how Buzz technically travelled through the network?

It’s based on a the last click attribution so if they click on your profile it will be attributed to Skool.

@Kevin Gebert I get it...I prefer first attribution held for 14 days but we can't control how it setup on Skool

You've been invited to something strange and unusual. Dress accordingly.
Before the Fortune Teller's Adventure opens on Monday, every adventurer gets a new face — a gothic-glam profile picture in the official Adventure frame. Same face, darker wardrobe, one bright colour, and a raven who may or may not approve of you. Takes about five minutes. No design skills required. The AI does the work; you do the choosing. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭 — 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 Choose one. Copy its full line — you'll paste it into the prompt. 🔮 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 — black lace high-neck dress, silver moon brooch, deadpan stare, raven on the shoulder holding an oracle card ⚰️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 — charcoal tailored suit with black satin lapels, black gloves, pocket watch on a chain, solemn half-smile, a single lily 🕯️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲́𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 — deep plum velvet gown, layers of antique lockets, eyes half-closed, faint candle smoke curling around them 🗝️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻 — velvet waistcoat, gold-capped grin, pointed ears, clutching a tiny locked chest, mischievous 🦋 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁 — dusty tweed coat, round spectacles, ink-stained fingers, a pale moth resting on the lapel, quietly judging 🥀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 — black overalls, dirt-smudged cheek, cradling a bouquet of dead roses like they're precious ✋ 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴'𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿 — black turtleneck, a disembodied hand perched calmly on their shoulder giving a thumbs up 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮 — 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 Electric violet, acid green, blood orange, hot magenta, mustard yellow, or cyan blue. Choose the one that feels most like you on a dramatic day. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯 — 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 Tap the + or paperclip icon in the chat box and choose a clear photo of your face. Good light, face visible, no sunglasses. It keeps your real features — this is you, not a stranger. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰 — 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 Copy everything below. Replace the [CHARACTER] part with your chosen line from Step 1, and swap ELECTRIC VIOLET for your colour from Step 2 if you picked a different one. Then send. Turn the person in this photo into a stylised gothic-glam character for a creative oracle card design event, keeping their real face, features and skin tone recognisable. Character: [CHARACTER]. Style: moody Victorian portrait with a playful, elegant twist, illustrated-painterly finish, soft dramatic side lighting, slight film grain. Background inside the circle: one flat, bright solid colour — ELECTRIC VIOLET — no gradients, no props.

Tears were welling in my eyes, and I could feel that familiar tightness in my throat, the kind that comes when emotion catches you completely off guard.
I leaned farther back into the softness of my new ridiculously comfy desk chair and just let myself feel it. It was late, I had finally finished the landing page, and for the first time I wasn't fixing links, moving things around or thinking about what still needed to be done. I was simply looking at it. All 36 of them. Together. Thirty-six mini-projects created by my students inside Mini-Project Magic™. But sitting there looking at them, I didn't see 36 projects anymore. I saw 36 pieces of these humans going out into the world. Their wisdom. Their stories. The things they had learned, lived, healed and mastered, now becoming experiences that could touch someone's spirituality and intuition, mindset and emotions, business and money, relationship with AI and technology, creativity, life and wellbeing. I knew how hard they had worked to get here, and how many times they had to choose finished over the seductive safety of just one more tweak. And now it was out of their hands. Their work was about to reach people they may never meet, and perhaps change a life they may never even know they changed. And I thought… THIS is the ripple. The Mini-Project Showcase is open. Take me there now 🔮 EVERY ONE OF THESE WAS CREATED BY A REAL HUMAN YOU CAN ACTUALLY TALK TO… They poured their knowledge, experience and a little piece of themselves into creating something for YOU. What's waiting for you A little bit of everything you love… 🔮 Follow your intuition through Oracle, Tarot & Akashic experiences 🔮 Soften, regulate and shift with nervous system & mindset experiences 🔮 Get curious and play inside hands-on AI & tech workshops 🔮 Explore business, money, content & visibility 🔮 Give yourself permission to create 🔮 And even discover experiences for your wellbeing, your dog, your pets & everyday life. There are 36 different experiences waiting for you, and almost all of them are FREE.

POV: You've been summoned by an oracle deck idea that refuses to leave you alone, and it's time to stop pretending you didn't hear it.
FORTUNE TELLER'S ADVENTURE INTO ORACLE CARDS DESIGN THE STRANGE & UNUSUAL EDITION YOU'VE BEEN SUMMONED. A 3-day adventure to find your oracle deck theme, make the visual style unmistakably yours, and learn the shortcuts that help you design cards faster. Plus, leave with at least 25 cards completely done! Starts September 14th ACCEPT YOUR INVITATION (Normal behavior remains optional.) SOMETHING HAS BEEN TRYING TO GET YOUR ATTENTION Maybe it's the deck idea you keep coming back to. The collection of images sitting in a folder. The strange little theme you can't quite explain yet. The card concept you started six months ago and quietly abandoned in Canva. Or maybe you know you want to create an oracle deck—but every time you try to decide what it should look like, you disappear down a Pinterest rabbit hole and emerge three hours later with 47 completely unrelated aesthetics. Suspicious. For three days, we investigate. Not hours of theory. Actually uncovering the idea, defining the look, starting the cards. THREE DAYS. THREE CLUES. ONE DECK TAKING SHAPE. DAY 1: SUMMON YOUR THEME Something has been trying to get your attention. Today we find out what. The recurring clues. The things you keep talking about. The ideas you cannot leave alone. The themes already hiding inside your work. By the end of Day 1, you won't have "an idea for a deck." You'll have a direction you can build from. Evidence recovered: Your core theme. Symbols and motifs. A concept specific enough to become memorable. THEME SUMMONED. DAY 2: MAKE IT UNMISTAKABLY YOURS Your deck needs a face. Preferably one nobody mistakes for somebody else's. Style, mood, palette, imagery, texture, typography—the visual personality that makes your deck feel like YOUR deck. No endlessly collecting inspiration without deciding. No accidental copy-and-paste aesthetic. No settling for whatever Canva suggested first. We're looking for fingerprints. Evidence recovered: Visual direction. Color palette. Mood. The pieces that make your deck recognizably yours. STYLE LEAVES FINGERPRINTS.
