These rank right up there with ‘get rich quick’ schemes, IMO. Even though I recommend an abbreviated 2-3 minute version of the 10-Minute Silent Sound Reset for rapid action, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get immediate relief from your symptoms. It’s similar to when I need to use my asthma rescue inhaler. Its purpose is to combat rapid onset of asthma symptoms, but even when I use it, I don’t always have instant results. It usually takes 2 puffs, often 4-5 minutes apart and then 5-10 minutes before normal respiration is restored. But like using a rescue inhaler, even the 2 to 3 minute version of the Silent Sound Reset will condition my nervous system to de-escalate faster and restore a calmer quieter mind with increased frequency of practice. That’s the best argument I know of for regular reset practice.
