😠 Why are most communities "strictly bussines"
I noticed something. When you join a community with a specific niche, like a "day trading group", the conversation is always just about that topic. And yeah, it makes sense. It’s a "day trading community", so of course that’s what people talk about. But I’ve seen posts that were a little off-topic, and they just get deleted. .....that kind of sucks I feel like a community should be more than just the niche. It should be a place where people actually connect and build real relationships. Not everything needs to be about the main topic all the time. That’s what really makes a community feel alive. The niche brings people in, but the relationships keep them there.

@Jerry Wang making launching your first step makes sense.
🤔 would you list your course or community on a yelp-style site?
imagine a single place where anyone can leave reviews, whether your stuff’s on Skool, Whop, Teachable, Kajabi, Udemy, whatever. someone checks reviews for a Whop community...but then sees your Skool group has way better ratings. now they have a real choice.and that kind of opportunity doesn't exist unless something like this gets built. f this existed, would you list your stuff on it?

Hey! I'm from California 🌴 I'm building a Yelp, but for online courses and communities. The goal is simple, help people find legit content by letting them leave public reviews, and help creators build trust with new audiences. Looking forward to connecting with more people here 🙌

@Marcin Hakemer-Fernandez Right now, if you're buying a course or joining a community, you have to rely on the creator's sales page, there’s no way to know if it actually helped people. Public reviews change that. Students can share honest feedback, and others can quickly tell what’s legit and what’s overhyped. Just like Yelp did for local businesses, we’re doing for online learning.
