So beautiful and vibrant! I love how you put this project together, such a good idea 🥰
Candy corn scarf
I finally finished up this scarf to match the headband and beanie I made a couple weeks ago! It’s a lot of switching colors but I like how it turned out 🧡

Yarn inconsistency
Has anyone had this happen in a skein, and is it fixable? I’ve never seen it before but it’s almost like the yarn got spun too tightly for a bit

Thank you @Angela Skelton @Paul Brown and @Chris Muggleton! I kinda figured it would have to be cut but it’s good to know for sure! Oh well, back to winding 🧶

@Angela Skelton It’s been a long time since I bought this yarn so I wouldn’t think so
Progress > Perfection. 🍓
Obsessed with the colors in this Lion Brand Ice cream scoop Strawberry yarn! Is the fit exactly what I planned? Nope. Am I still going to rock it? Yup. I’m already planning my next one with a bigger body and shorter sleeves, but We keep growing with every project. Don't be afraid to finish something that isn't "perfect." It's just the draft for your next masterpiece! 🍦💖

Wow, that’s awesome! I love the colorway and the sweater looks super cozy! Practice makes perfect and then you’ll have a bunch of homemade clothes to wear 🧶🥰

@Zona Taylor I totally get that, I’m still perfecting it too! Hmm, if you’re comfortable with a crochet hook I think slip stitching the sides together would look nice and still leave it feeling like one continuous tube

@Zona Taylor there’s a pretty good guide on ilikecrochet.com for pattern basics, but a quick overview of slip stitch is: insert the hook under the loops you want to connect, wrap the yarn around the hook (back to front) and pull back through the loops to get just 2 loops on hook, then pull that same loop through the first loop on the hook. Sorry if that’s gibberish, I’m sure there are better tutorials in the classroom tab/online too!
