Identify the fluff
I joined the last 5 minutes of yesterday's call and heard @Jeffrey Buoncristiano talking about achieving the "simple". I tought about that all day, and it brought back a memory, I studied industrial design and I had an amazing teacher who gave us exercises to spark our creativity while designing useful objects, when we presented our work she would say "time to identify the fluff" To do so we had to ask ourselves some questions. What am I aiming for with this? What is its purpose? Who is it gonna use it? and what are the most basic things it needs to function? does every element in here helps me achieve the answer to this questions? And after that, we would have to eliminate all those extra things that were not necessary and then ask the questions again. I think that if we modify this questions it could be a good exercise to apply while we make our offer, copy, funnel, creatives, etc. I would love to do simple things so I don't get overwhelmed, but I know it's a process. Have you tried to achieve simplicity?

@Mona Constante - appreciate you bringing this into a process. Been thinking a lot about the simplicity after complexity. I just boiled down the complex to simple after reading this: ā€œinvite peopleā€ The complexity comes in with trying to build evergreen systems and prioritizing strategies. But the simple thing is to simply advertise - any way I do that is a good way for now.

I’ll also note that ā€œidentify the fluffā€ in your example came AFTER creating something and submitting it for review. Simplicity after complexity still requires complexity (just not to stay in it). Boils down to trying to preemptively simplify when the beauty comes after the mess.

šŸ’„ So, it was amazing the first time I got a paying client into my homeopathy skool group… But, I’m almost more excited just now, because the first person from off platform joined my biz group… it’s always amazing to have fellow skoolies join my space and I love it, yet there is another piece to my dream.. šŸ’­ One huge part for me is bringing other holistic and/or homesteading Lovelies to this skool space to fill the gaping hole (homesteading, holistic animal care, foraging, herbs, gardening, sustainability, food preservation) with their expertise and knowledge. 🌈 To help them build a space here free of the censorship and algorithm BS that is everywhere else, where they can pursue their passion and purpose doing what they love so they can stay home with their babes, build their homestead, travel or whatever it is their hearts desire is. šŸš€ I just had my first completely new to skool Beauty join my space from off platform, which means that dream is becoming a reality.

Your main biz challenge and the age of your biz. Going for and communicating (aka OWNING) the different thing I offer rather than trying to twist it into ā€œsomething people are used to buyingā€. I’ve been a 1-1 coach for 7 years with a niche of Outliers, top-performing leaders and entrepreneurs who are at the top of their game who • What motivates you most? Bringing people together Creating space to expand what people think is possible Seeing people belong to themselves so fully, that their business, impact, and leadership makes others feel they belong. • What's your favorite color and/or Pokemon? Color- yellow PokĆ©mon - Scyther!! • What could this community help you with most!? Externally: get back into creating original though my that speaks to me and my people (I’m prolific and create a lot of content- but I’ve been hiding behind an interview podcast) Ultimately, I want to advertise and be waaaay more visible. I’ve been holding back because I feel I can’t succinctly answer the key questions everyone else seems to rattle off regarding niche, avatar, etc. Internally: challenge my thinking and get me back to LEADING more than marketing or even being an entrepreneur. Things worked best when I felt I was leading a tribe of outliers rather than trying to get clients.
