Launchpad Update: No Winner, Jobs on Twitter, Choose Next Course
WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT COMPETITION No one was able to beat @Benjamin Villette this week so there's no engagement competition winner. @Saba Malik came pretty close though. PRO TIP: “You Can Have Everything In Life You Want, If You Will Just Help Enough Other People Get What They Want.” – Zig Ziglar *** EVERYONE IS HIRING COPYWRITERS ON X @Sahil Guddeti recently got his first client on X for $3,500/month. Feel free to interrogate him about how he did it. Or bug him to write a case study for us. Meta's advertising algorithm changes combined with improvements in AI images & video have created MASSIVE demand for copywriters. They need people to babysit the AI. Business owners and CMOs are too busy to do it. - Go to X .com - Search “hiring a copywriter”, “hiring a creative strategist”, “hiring a direct response copywriter” - Sort by “Latest” - Apply to every position I will be shocked if you don't get at least one client. It helps if you are active on Twitter and you have an optimized profile. We have a full course on this called “Twitter Growth Playbook” for Premium members. Upgrade to Premium here: https://www.skool.com/copywriting-launchpad/plans *** WHAT COURSE SHOULD WE TEACH NEXT? I was wondering what course to teach next for our live cohort. I can't decide between... - How to sell to women - AI copywriting - Creative strategy Help me decide. Vote below. If I see LOTS of votes we might do all 3 courses in the coming months. Bionic Copywriter is already available in our classroom for Premium members. Make Her Buy and Creative Girl Summer, I'll have to bring in guests to teach. *** AMA WITH @Matthew Volkwyn A celebrity copywriter who has made over $1 million dollars for himself is doing an AMA in our community. We have 5,300 members. There are only 10 questions under his post. Shameful. If you're wondering why experts charge lots of money instead of helping people for free this is why. No one appreciates something they get for free.

Twitter works I got my first client back in 2024 through twitter only however I couldn't make that as my case study as that client gave up on their business so anyway it was a good experience and I was surprise at the DM reply rate - just with 10 - 16 messages a day I signed my first client back in 2024. Now I don't use X so don't know that landscape as of now - I do you @Nabeel Azeez think that for AI Audits which platform would be best?
Enough consumption...now it's time to apply!
One thing I've realized recently: Consuming knowledge feels productive, but it often becomes a substitute for actually doing the work. I've spent hours watching videos, reading posts, saving frameworks, and taking notes. The problem wasn't lack of information. The problem was lack of implementation. Most of us don't need another strategy right now. We need to execute the strategy we already know. So here's a simple rule I'm trying to follow: For every piece of content I consume, I must take one action before consuming the next piece. Watch a video on outreach?→ Send one outreach message. Learn a copywriting framework?→ Rewrite one headline. See a content idea?→ Create one piece of content. No endless note-taking. No saving it for later. No moving on to the next lesson. Just one lesson → one action. You'll learn more from 10 implemented ideas than 100 consumed ones. What's one thing you've learned recently that you still haven't applied? P.S: I'm going through the starter kit course from the classroom, this post is inspired by 2nd lesson in the module so go and check that if you haven't - super valuable.

@Ayanda Mathe it's going well
What Outreach message?
Now, I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying they don’t know what to say while outreaching or they’ve been asking for a common template which can be used to get replies. First off there’s no common template. This is where personalisation comes in… You gotta stalk them and find bits and pieces which shows you’ve done your “research” (another word for stalking here) I don’t pitch them or I don’t even try to sound salesy in the first message. if you find a person cute U don’t go up to them and be like “hey you’re cute, can I take u out?” You obviously try to start a conversation at first, get to know them, then you make your move It’s kinda the same with business because you have to realise that you’re dealing with HUMANS here, difference is you don’t ask them what their favourite colour is 😍 You ask them where they see their business going in the next 5 years. You don’t need to extend a big conversation, but at least try to sound genuine and normal before you pitch something. Just get into their main DMs section where they text their favourite people. Try to get to their DM list first This worked wonders for me. Note: I’ve also sent loads of messages pitching at first and NONE of it got a reply. This may work for a few and may not. Totally up to u but I just wanted to share. Here are a few examples of trying out different ways to get them to text me. (Sometimes it was just a plain “do you need copywriting assistance LOLL 😂)

@Jesutomi Adejo exactly Instagram has more restrictions now
learning reactivation emails
One thing I'm learning about reactivation emails: Most people think they're designed to sell. They're not. They're designed to understand why someone stopped taking action. When writing a reactivation email, the first question isn't: "What should I say?" It's: "Why did this person go cold?" Usually it's one of a few reasons: - Life got busy - They lost motivation - They lost belief - They got distracted - They simply forgot The goal isn't to immediately pitch an offer. The goal is to restart the conversation. A simple framework I'm studying: 1. Remind them what they originally wanted 2. Acknowledge the gap or inactivity 3. Ask a genuine question 4. Invite a small next step Example: "When you joined, you wanted to grow your business. It's been a while since we've connected. Are you still working toward that goal?" Simple. The more I learn copywriting, the more I realize great copy starts with psychology, not words. Before writing anything, understand: - What they wanted - Why they stopped - What belief needs to be restored - What action you want next The copy becomes much easier after that.

Can you review this copywriting AI prompt?
Looking for some honest feedback. I just build a prompt that turns any ChatGPT or Claude project into a dedicated copywriter. The goal wasn't to create another generic "write better copy" prompt. I wanted something that: - Understands your business and audience - Maintains a consistent brand voice - Challenges weak messaging - Helps with offers, emails, landing pages, content, and ads - Feels more like working with a copywriter than an AI tool Before I continue improving it, I'd love to get some outside opinions. Would anyone be open to testing it and giving me honest feedback? Here is the prompt (you can simply copy paste): " You are my full-time Senior Direct Response Copywriter, Conversion Strategist, Offer Positioning Expert, and Customer Research Analyst. Your primary responsibility is to help me acquire clients, generate revenue, improve conversions, strengthen offers, and create persuasive marketing assets. You have deep expertise in: - Direct response copywriting - Sales psychology - Consumer behavior - Offer creation - Offer positioning - Funnel strategy - VSL scripting - Landing pages - Webinar scripts - Email marketing - Social media content - YouTube scripting - Short-form content - Personal branding - Storytelling - Market sophistication - Objection handling - Customer research You combine the strategic thinking of Alex Hormozi, Eugene Schwartz, Gary Halbert, Dan Kennedy, John Carlton, and Russell Brunson. Your job is not to write pretty words. Your job is to maximize: - Revenue - Conversions - Sales opportunities - Qualified leads - Offer attractiveness - Audience trust - Market positioning Whenever I present an idea, offer, content piece, funnel, script, sales page, VSL, webinar, or marketing asset: 1. Critique it honestly. 2. Identify weaknesses. 3. Identify conversion leaks. 4. Point out hidden assumptions. 5. Suggest stronger alternatives. 6. Improve clarity and persuasion. 7. Rewrite when necessary.
