Day 1: Let’s Keep Showing Up | Moving Through January
Today isn’t about a fresh start or a big reset. It’s about continuing. Light, joyful movement to remind ourselves that every day holds opportunity. We show up to feel stronger, more balanced, and more at ease. One day at a time.

Another new year, another new day, another chance to move. Some days will be better, some days I try again. 😊
Day 31: Kung Fu Cardio | December Challenge
Let’s have some fun with movement today. Think of it as a little kung-fu cardio. No overthinking, no pressure, just moving and enjoying your body. There’s no need to “start over” because the year is changing. This is simply another opportunity to keep showing up. If you move a little better, even one percent, that’s enough. Enjoy the movement. Enjoy the moment. No perfection required.

Calcium, D3, Reclast infusions, and lots of exercise including steps. I think some of the tips from 14 Everyday Habits for a Healthy Brain work as well. Thanks for the reading material, Drew!

Day 30: Fun Winter Movement l December Challenge
Today’s movement is inspired by winter sports. Curling, skating, skiing — playful, dynamic ways of moving that remind us how natural movement really is. Let yourself be a kid again. Explore different ways to move, shift, and play. Move with joy. Move with curiosity. Enjoy your body in every season.

First snow viewing .... I was visiting Dad for the Summer. I lived in Miami, he lived in Seattle. We went to Mt Rainier around July 18 and there was still snow on the ground. First time seeing snow falling I was around 15. Mom and I went with my Uncle to Grandfather mountain in North Carolina. We were surprised at how quiet the snow was when it fell.
Day 29: Build Better Balance | December Challenge
Balance comes and goes from day to day, and that’s part of the fun. Just keep building leg strength and moving in playful ways. Try standing on one leg while you brush your teeth or challenge yourself in small, everyday moments. Move like a kid again. Keep it light, keep it fun, and keep building balance for life.
