Hi @Alex Lato hope you’re well. I am having increasing trouble with “stranger danger” reactivity with my 6 month old JRX x Chihuahua. He is fine with big dogs off lead and saying hi etc but very dog selective on lead and from the distance. I had two incidents last week where he ended up a screaming mess in the end of the leash. What would be the best place to start? Do you do 1:1 online consults? Thank you

@Alex Lato When I started my heelwork training with the pup I used food and toy lure in hand and then slowly going higher and higher. Eventually I’m planing to fade behind his head and to the side. Also working on hand to the side of his head separately so he understands to keep his head up. Is it ok to keep going like that because I seem to confuse him more with backwards lure etc? I know I need to work on keeping him more straight and also forging but I’m pretty happy considering it’s our 5th session. I also keep them super short because he has a Luxating patella. Here is our little attempt at heelwork. I have done fair bit with Frank so he understands to stay under the arm. Little pup Oreo has no idea what’s happening 🤣 Any tips what to do about the bunny hopping would be greatly appreciated ☺️
