My Pleasure to Meet You
Hi everyone. Frances Strickland here. Glad to be joining the community and looking forward to getting to know many of you. I've spent more than 30 years working across businesses in senior leadership and advisory roles, with experience spanning strategy, operations, organizational transformation, HR, and international business. Today, I advise owner- and founder-led businesses that have reached the point where growth has made the business harder to run. I help leaders identify what is getting in the way of performance, align the parts of the business that need to work together, and build the operating discipline needed for more predictable performance and profitability. I also enjoy connecting with other fractional leaders whose expertise complements mine. There is often far more value we can create together than by staying inside our individual lanes. You can learn more about my work here: https://performance-and-profitability.netlify.app/ Looking forward to the conversations and connections.

welcome Frances!
Our First Certified Fractional Executive
I am proud to announce that Aaron Martin is the first graduate of the Fractional Executive Certification Program and is now officially a Certified Fractional Executive. As a member of our founding cohort, Aaron brought thoughtful questions, extensive executive experience, and a genuine commitment to strengthening his fractional practice. Aaron is the Founder of Glass River Technologies and a Technology Clarity Advisor for growing nonprofits. He helps nonprofit leaders better understand: • What technology they currently have • Where risks and gaps may exist • Which issues deserve attention first • How technology investments can better support the organization’s mission With more than 25 years of experience as a CIO, CTO, and CISO, Aaron brings the strategic perspective of an experienced technology executive without requiring an organization to hire a full-time executive. His work begins with assessment and clarity, rather than immediately recommending new systems or solutions. From there, he helps organizations strengthen governance, identify risks, reduce complexity, and develop a practical technology roadmap. Aaron, congratulations on becoming our first Certified Fractional Executive. It has been a privilege to watch you refine your positioning, offers, proposals, and plans throughout the program. I am excited to see what comes next for you and Glass River Technologies. View Aaron’s verified certification here: https://credsverse.com/credentials/621c252f-535f-42fc-bb87-cb5ff83b78ef Please join me in congratulating @Aaron Martin on this accomplishment. Participation Levels Now Have Names 🏆
We just rebranded the community levels. No more "Level 1-9." Now it's: - 🐣 Novice - ⚙️ Operator - 🤝 Closer - 🥊 Heavyweight - 💼 Power Broker - 👑 King/Queen Maker - 🏙️ Mogul - ⚡ Titan - 🏆 Legend Here's how it works: every like you get on a post or comment = 1 point. Points stack up and level you up. So the more value you drop, the faster you climb. Check your name in the leaderboard, that's your participation level right now. Drop a comment with your current level and where you're gunning for next. (Yes, liking this post gets you closer 👇) Who's already eyeing King/Queen Maker?

appreciate your vulnerability and sharing Aaron. I hope to make it!
"Pick Your Brain"??
A business owner asks you for a quick 30-minute, "Just to pick your brain" call. (Or offers to take you to lunch.) No scope, no intro call, just advice. What do you do?

Take the call, drop bait during the call, and remind them of my services, and ask for referrals
