Absolutely true! I learned this the hard way. Building the skill to close prospects is way harder than learning code. What's been your biggest challenge in client hunting so far?
Why Most Emails Never Get Read (and How to Fix Yours)
Most people think their emails don’t get opened because of bad timing. The truth? People ignore your emails because of this…” Value:Your first line matters just as much as your subject line. If it’s boring or self-focused, they’ll stop reading instantly. Here’s the fix: - Make the opening line about them, not you. - Avoid phrases like:“I wanted to share something exciting with you.”Instead, try: “If you’ve been struggling to get replies, this will help. Bonus tips: Use short sentences.Add white space. Write like you’re talking to ONE person, not a crowd. “When you open an email, what makes you keep reading—the first line or the subject line? Comment below.”

For me it's definitely the first line. A good subject line gets it opened, but if that first sentence doesn't hook me or feel relevant, I'm gone. What's your best performing first line so far?

Comment: Great question! I see a lot of people struggling with consistent client flow. What's worked for me is focusing on one solid outreach method and mastering it first rather than jumping between tactics. Are you tracking your response rates to see what's actually working for you?
