Your workout is a date with yourself. And unlike that one friend who’s always “running late” — you can’t ghost you. The truth? Life will always throw you reasons to cancel. Work gets busy. Kids get loud. Couch gets… suspiciously comfortable. But here’s the thing — when you cancel on you, you send the message that your goals aren’t worth pursuing and your progress is not wortg keeping. Here’s how to make sure this date happens: 1️⃣ Book it like a meeting – Put it in your calendar as "Appointment with the boss" YOU are the boss! and this is an appointment you can’t skip. 2️⃣ Prep like you’re going out – Lay your clothes out, fill your water bottle, get your playlist ready. No excuses - you did the prep, now it's time to work! 4️⃣ Stick to the plan – have everything ready including your mind-set and get straight in! 5️⃣ Hold yourself accountable – Text a friend, post your sweaty selfie on the socials. And don't forget - I'm watching in the background! I get the notification as soon as you complete a workout on my phone. It always makes me smile too 🥲 Bottom line: Respect the date. Show up. Every.
