THURSDAY...Don’t wait for Monday to start.
Don’t wait for the perfect morning. The perfect mood. The perfect amount of sleep. The perfect energy. The perfect version of yourself. The days that truly count are often the days when it is not perfect. The days when resistance shows up. The days when willpower is required. The days when the old pattern says: “Not today.” “I’m too tired.” “I already failed.” “I’ll start again next week.” “I need to do it perfectly or not at all.” That is the moment to pause. Not to push. Not to shame yourself. Not to force your body into discipline. But to listen. ‼️ 👉 Ask: Is this an old pattern speaking? Is this my nervous system protecting me? Is my body asking for rest, or is it asking for one tiny step? What do I need to get the wheels rolling today? Maybe the practice is not one hour. Maybe it is five minutes. Maybe it is one breath. Maybe it is standing up, feeling your feet, softening your jaw, and choosing one small action. Progress is not built only on the days when everything feels easy. It is built on the days when you choose to stay in a relationship with yourself. Not by pushing harder. But by listening deeper. So today, don’t wait for Monday. Begin with the smallest honest step your body can say yes to.

Thank you so much for this reminder as I’m getting up this morning. My body is screaming at me to rest and my nervous system is already set to go, go, go!! I have a light work load day today and rather than push and get ahead, I will listen to my body and take it easy, only doing what is required for the day. I’m listening…
✨How Tight Ribs Limit Your Breath
Most people think breathing is only about the lungs. But the truth is: Breathing is a mechanical movement of the ribs + diaphragm working together. When the ribs don’t move…the diaphragm cannot move fully. And when the diaphragm cannot move fully…your breath becomes smaller, faster, and more effortful. 🌿 What Tight Ribs Feel Like You may notice: - shallow breathing - tight chest - neck doing most of the breathing - sighing often but never feeling satisfied - fatigue - anxiety or “wired” feeling - difficulty taking a deep breath Because when ribs are stuck…the body compensates. Shoulders lift. Neck works harder. Jaw tightens. Breath shortens. SHARE YOUR FINDINGS AND OBSERVATIONS 👇

My ribs are constantly sore. When I take a deep belly breath I can feel the muscles around my ribs stretch. It’s not pleasant. I’m guessing from underuse. I have been aware today and am noticing how shallow my natural breathing is and how often I hold my breath without realizing it. No wonder I’m exhausted all of the time
What Do You Know About Your Neck?
Today, we bring awareness to an area many people only notice when it hurts: the neck. Your neck is not just a place that gets stiff. It is a bridge between: 👉 head and body 👉 thoughts and feelings 👉 jaw and shoulders 👉 breath and posture 👉 nervous system and movement So today, pause for a moment and ask yourself: ✨ Is my neck tight right now? ✨ Do I push my head forward during the day? ✨ Do I clench my jaw and feel it in my neck? ✨ Do I lose neck mobility when stressed? ✨ Do I hold my breath when concentrating? ✨ Does my neck feel tired, compressed, or heavy? ✨ Do I wake up with tension there? 🤩 SHARE YOUR OBSERVATIONS 👇

My neck is very sore. When I sleep I clench my whole body and my shoulders are thrusted up towards my ears. I soften them before bed but always wake up clenched and sore. It happens throughout the day but I’m starting to notice and release, though it only releases briefly.

Hello! I’ve struggled with TMJ for over 20 years. It eventually also turned into migraines and sinus pain. I’m now living with daily migraines from the clenching and tongue thrusting. I’ve tried every kind of therapy and medication possible. Nothing has resulted in lasting relief. I know my nervous system is in extreme need of calming and that’s why I originally found my way here. Just finishing up the notice jouney and am looking forward to starting the jaw journey in a few days. If I can get even 5% relief, it would make a huge difference in my life. I’m currently struggling to make it through each and every day from exhaustion and pain.

Hi! I’m Ashley for California and my body is screaming for relief. I live in a constant state of stress and clenching all over my body and I’m exhausted. I am very flexible. I can touch my toes. My body is always completely relaxed. I’m getting more sleep but still feel exhausted.
