Mini Challenge: Automate One Task This Week
Let’s wrap up the month with a small but powerful challenge. This week, pick one task in your work that feels repetitive — maybe sending a report, updating a list, or sending client reminders — and automate it using any low-code tool you like. It doesn’t need to be fancy. The goal is progress, not perfection. Once you’ve done it, share what you built — even a quick summary or screenshot. You’ll inspire others to take action too. Remember, every great system starts with one small automation.

I picked a simple repetitive task this week: sending follow-up reminders to clients. I automated it using Zapier + Google Sheets. Now whenever I update a row with a “Follow-up Date,” Zapier automatically sends a personalized email reminder at the right time. No manual checking, no missed follow-ups. It’s a small automation, but it instantly removed one of my weekly headaches.Happy to share screenshots or details if anyone wants to build something similar!
What’s the One Tool You Can’t Live Without?
We all have that one app that keeps our system alive. For some, it’s Airtable. For others, Notion, Make, or ClickUp. If you had to run your entire business using just one low-code or no-code tool — which one would it be, and why? I’m curious to see the variety of setups in this community. Sometimes discovering what others use sparks your next big idea.

If I had to run my entire business using just one no-code tool, I’d choose Airtable. It gives the perfect balance of database structure, automation, and flexibility without becoming overly complex. You can run CRM, project management, content pipelines, client onboarding, and reporting all in one place — and still keep everything clean and fast. Plus, its integrations with Zapier/Make let you scale automations later without rebuilding your whole system. For an all-in-one operational hub, Airtable is the most stable and future-proof option in my experience.
Zapier - LinkedIn Error - Anyone Else Seeing This?
My LinkedIn Zaps suddenly stopped working and now show this error: Zapier could not connect to your account. Requested version 20241101 is not active. I’ve tried reconnecting the account, switching browsers, and even resetting my LinkedIn password, but nothing fixes it. Is this a known issue between Zapier and LinkedIn, or is there something else I should try? Thanks!
Automate, But Stay Human
Automation doesn’t replace human connection, it enhances it.When your systems take care of repetitive work, you have more time for real conversations, better service, and creative thinking. Clients don’t remember how fast your systems worked, they remember how you made them feel. So automate processes, not relationships. Let the tech handle routine. You handle the human part, that’s what builds trust and long-term growth.

Automation should handle the repetitive tasks so you have more time for real human connection. Use tech to simplify your workflow, not replace conversations. When you automate processes and keep the relationship side human, clients feel cared for — and that’s what builds trust and long-term growth.
Build a Smart Dashboard Without Code
You don’t need Power BI or advanced coding to create dashboards anymore. With Airtable Interfaces, Notion, or Glide, you can visualize your data and track metrics in real time. Here’s a simple example: - Collect leads or sales in Airtable. - Use filters to view by month, source, or campaign. - Build an interface with charts and summaries. - Update automatically as new data comes in. You can even share a live dashboard link with clients or your team — no manual reporting needed. The goal isn’t just data visibility, it’s decision clarity.

You’re right, you don’t need Power BI or coding for simple dashboards. Airtable Interfaces, Notion, and Glide work great for real-time metrics as long as your data isn’t huge. Just collect leads/sales in Airtable, apply filters for month/source/campaign, and build an Interface with charts and summaries. It updates automatically and you can share a live link with your team or clients. Only thing to keep in mind: these tools are perfect for lightweight analytics, but if you need heavy reporting or very large datasets, that’s when BI tools make more sense.
