Mini Challenge: Automate One Task This Week
Let’s wrap up the month with a small but powerful challenge. This week, pick one task in your work that feels repetitive — maybe sending a report, updating a list, or sending client reminders — and automate it using any low-code tool you like. It doesn’t need to be fancy. The goal is progress, not perfection. Once you’ve done it, share what you built — even a quick summary or screenshot. You’ll inspire others to take action too. Remember, every great system starts with one small automation.
What’s the One Tool You Can’t Live Without?
We all have that one app that keeps our system alive. For some, it’s Airtable. For others, Notion, Make, or ClickUp. If you had to run your entire business using just one low-code or no-code tool — which one would it be, and why? I’m curious to see the variety of setups in this community. Sometimes discovering what others use sparks your next big idea.
What’s Your Dream Automation Setup?
Imagine this — your business runs smoothly, every task flows automatically, and you only focus on decisions that matter. What would that setup look like for you? Would it handle leads, clients, invoices, content, or something else entirely? I love hearing about how people imagine their ideal automated system because that vision often becomes their next project.
What’s the Hardest Part About Learning No-Code Tools?
For most people, it’s not about the tools — it’s about knowing where to start. Some get stuck choosing platforms, others struggle to connect data or design workflows. I’ve noticed this pattern in many learners: They try to learn everything at once instead of mastering one small system. Here’s a better way: Pick one problem — like lead management or onboarding — and learn just enough tools to solve that problem first. Once you do, everything else starts to click naturally.
Why Do You Want to Learn Automation?
Everyone has a different reason for getting into automation. For some, it’s about saving time. For others, it’s about building a business that can scale without hiring more people. When I started, my goal was simple — stop doing repetitive work and build cleaner systems. But over time, I realized automation does more than that. It changes how you think about growth. You stop asking “how can I do this faster?” and start asking “how can I make this happen automatically?” It’s a mindset shift, from doer to designer.
