My training load was okay last week, could have been better, but however, my handstand form improved and I was able to push through a hard core workout
So I didn't train much last week because I was on vacation. On the negative side, my Human Flag did not look as good as it used to, but on the positive side I finally regained the ability to Muscle-Up
How can I do a muscle up i always try and I can only get to my chest Any tips? Here's some of my stats 10-12 pullups (8 with 4kgs) 25-30 dips (15-20 with 4kgs) Im 5'6 and 84kg
Your stats are quite good, so if you can do good high pull-ups it's probably just a question of technique. For the start I would recommend you to swing a bit and when you're at the front point of swinging you pull yourself behind and upwards. At the same time you lift your legs so that your body is nearer to the bar. It will take a few trys but if you finally get your hip to the bar, all you have to do is lean forward and then push upwards
Feel free to talk about ... - Your fitness level - Skills you trained last week - New personal records or challenges - Anything else concerning Calesthenics
So I'm now back with my aspired number of trainings. Regarding skills I focused a bit on 90 degree hold (yet too hard) and handstand (typical problems with balance). Apart from that I trained forearms with a "Gyro Twister" which I can recommend. I'm proud of a new PR in Hollow-Body Hold (2 min) and Archer Push-Ups (40 Repetitions)
