Linkedin in High School
Hey everyone. I have just started to explore this community. I found out that a lot of members use Linkedin as a resourse of communication. I would like to know and discuss, should I as a high school student create my own account on this social network and what should I post there? Share ur stories below in the comments pls

I would create an account if you have things that you have done, because looking at other people Linkedins sometimes feels like looking at insane college applications and comparing yourself to them. It's honestly up to you, but you are going to need it some point in the future, so might as well get started now and create an account. If you want any connections my name is Artiom Peshkur :D
Usabo/Usmdo
Has anyone competed in the USABO or the USMDO? What is it like, and what type of questions are asked? Does anyone know any more biology olympiads like this?

Hello! This might be a little to late since USMDO has already past, but I see that there is some confusion about it, and I will be happy to answer some question to the extent of my knowledge. I placed Gold in the US and #36 in the competition. The type of questions that are asked is a broad overview of the material expected of you to know for medical school. I have personally found it helpful to be familiar with Campbell's biology, and study MCAT Anki cards. In addition I have reviewed the MCAT Kaplan books and USMLE, as the content in there is the content they want you to know. I hope you found this helpful and let me know if you have any other questions!

@Anshu V. Certainly! The MCAT review series is something that I used, specifically foundation 1-4. But another, arguably more helpful, information on Khan Academy is the health and medicine course (which I didn't even know existed until recently).
Research Leadership Opportunity by Rishab Jain
Hello, my name is Rishab Jain, and I am the President of the International Research Olympiad. We have spent weeks assembling the following: - Funding to grow and scale - Social media templates - Club meeting slideshows - Curriculum/materials - Our large network of tens of thousands of students - … and much more In other words, we will make it extremely easy for you to create a research club at your school, or affiliate an existing club with us. In our 23+ page guidebook, we will walk you step by step through the process of creating a research club at your school. Link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1P7lshfP_WtwIy_rqoCk3_5aAbd9ftlj-3pH4FTC0LrU/edit?usp=sharing This is an EXCELLENT leadership opportunity for you -- we will help you reach thousands of students in your local area. But, be fast: Thousands of students will be starting research clubs in the next few days, and many students from your own school will fill out our forms. We will operate on a first-come-first-serve basis. This means that if two students apply from the same school to become President of their Research Club, we will honor the first student's request, and encourage the second student to work as a Co-President or other leader in the club. Any questions? Ask in the thread below!
