@Dani Rosenblad James Great to see you here :) I think trusting yourself is so important, trusting your gut, instinct and intuition is one of the best guides in life. Your life experience is crazy, because I know you for a couple of years now, but honestly, it is really inspiring to know where you came from, what you've been through and where you are today. Even the growth from 2024 to now is awesome! 2nd person to say family as the place you're happiest. Its so good to see these family values within this community! Love the share about bullies. It is so true and it's so sad to see. I was recently reflecting and I think that it was a part of my downful with mental health. Thanks for the share and for being here :)

Hi, I'm Jason Scott. I’m based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I joined because I believe kids deserve to feel safe in their own skin — at school, online, and at home. I’m here to learn, contribute, and help strengthen a community that takes children’s mental wellness and anti-bullying seriously. Lesson learned: Show up early — and keep showing up. Most “change” isn’t one big heroic moment. It’s consistent, quiet decisions: listening longer, speaking up sooner, and choosing compassion when it would be easier to stay silent. My favorite place in the world: Anywhere I’m with my family and we’re not in a rush. If I have to pick a “place,” it’s a peaceful coffee shop where i go every Friday to see my closest friends. I’ve seen bullying do real damage — the kind that doesn’t always show up on the outside. I’ve also seen how one caring adult or one brave friend can interrupt that story and change the trajectory. That’s a big reason I’m here: to be part of the interruption. I’ll attach one of my wife Laura and our kids — we’ve been married 20+ years and they’re my daily reminder of what we’re protecting. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi @Jason Scott 🥳 Welcome to the community! This is a great "why" behind why you are here. It shows your character and your desire for a better world for children, teens, and adults! It all starts from a young age and has long lasting impacts and effects not just years, but decades on... Stopping it from the root cause, or preventing the damage via awareness and education is key! I love this lesson... Consistency delivers consistently. It's how we grow and shape ourselves. Ahh family is a true place of happiness and great feelings. I love that the coffee shop fits in there. It's probably not because of the shop itself but more so because it's the place you meet your closest friends! Being part of the interruption is key! great reason to be here! Love this photo too, it's simply but reminds us all that family and connection are some of the highest values we have in life. Lookign forward to getting to know you more as this community grows :)

Hello Bloomies! I am Arthur Maddocks-Brown 😎 I am 32 and live in Australia. Originally from the UK but moved to the Island of Sunshine, great sandy beaches and baking hot sun 23 years ago when I was 9. I used to be a sporty guy playing football and in adulthood I took up skiing which is my favourite thing to do in life. It is the one thing I feel completely in flow, my heart rate increases, I become more aware of the senses, the cold air on my face, the bumps in the snow, the sounds of nature and people having fun. I am one with my skis and the mountain and thats empowering! Nothing compares to it for me! I joined Bloom Beyond Bullying because I first of all am Danni's partner and I want to support her growth in this space, secondly, this is a real meaningful and purpose driven mission, helping people move through their bullying trauma. I was bullied when I first moved to Australia at 9 and then when I was in high school for the entire duration. I could count 3 separate reasons and times it was worst. It stemmed from 1: Being different, 2: Appearing to have more & 3: Being good at what I did (football / soccer) Unfortunately, I have been on both sides, shamefully. I was bullied, but I also was the bully and I only really identified this later in life as I grew up, what I thought was teasing and joking around now I think was bullying. This is a great community designed to help victims move forward and become empowered and theres nothing better than that! The best lesson I have learnt in life so far... I have many lessons: Trust your gut / instinct, You only fail when you give up, giving up is a death sentence, consistency is the key to all achievements. The most important lesson though I think is to lead life with love, kindness and compassion. When I do things with love, I do it better, more intentional and more committed. My Favourite place in the world I would say is in a quiet corner on top of a snowy mountain, theres a place in Australia I go skiing where not many people go and it's just so beautiful along the snowy river.
