Virginia Tech Student-GCs Looking for Flip/BRRRR Deals or Mentorship in the NRV
My partners and I are Virginia Tech students running a general construction company in the New River Valley. We primarily do residential remodeling and construction work, and we’re looking to take the next step into either a flip or BRRRR-style project. We’re currently looking for opportunities around the NRV, preferably in the Christiansburg, Radford, Blacksburg, or surrounding areas. The type of deal we’re looking for would ideally be something around: - Purchase Price: $180K–$200K - ARV: $260K–$280K+ - Project Type: Cosmetic to moderate renovation - Strategy: Flip or BRRRR - Strength: We can control renovation cost and execution because we operate as the GC We’re not looking to waste anyone’s time. We’re serious about learning, underwriting deals properly, and building relationships with people who are active in the space. We’re mainly looking for: - Off-market or value-add opportunities - Mentorship from experienced investors - Connections with wholesalers, agents, lenders, or investors in the NRV - Advice on what deal criteria makes the most sense for our first project If anyone has a lead, advice, or would be open to a quick conversation, I’d really appreciate it.
