Yeah!! Can't wait
Encouragement
I receive a weekly email from James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits, and this week’s message really stayed with me. It felt especially meaningful here in 3rd Act, particularly as we’ve been learning about the power of micro moves, so I wanted to share it. "It is nearly impossible to have your best idea the first time you think about something. The most likely way to uncover important insights is to frequently revisit a problem. The longer you're in the game, the more ideas bubble up to the surface. Time unlocks insights." I’d love to hear what this brings up for you. It feels like such a gentle reminder that small, steady steps really do add up over time.

Thanks for reminding me to actually read his email in my inbox
Poll: Help me build our Possibilities Lab
I am fleshing out The Possibilities Lab - our library of 3rd Act inspiration. I want to make sure I’m finding the stories you actually want to hear. I’m looking for real women making real transitions. Not celebrities, but people like us who have reinvented their work, their hobbies, or their entire lifestyle. I already have a substantial list to invite, but want your input. 1️⃣Vote below on which category you are MOST curious about RIGHT NOW 2️⃣Then, drop a comment if you have a specific niche /topic (e.g., "someone who started a bakery") or even a specific person I should stalk (in a friendly way) on social media. I'm not shy.😉

I would like someone that worked a 9-5 and then moved to their biz. Like my 2nd idea is teaching tech to seniors.
This video landed hard because it reminded me of this truth...
➡️➡️➡️We weren’t lost. We were edited. Have you ever watched a video on social media that just knocked you off your feet? I did. This morning. It's from a creator - @Gregisms (you can follow him on all the platforms - super funny guy - teacher) In this morning's video he talked about the heartbreak teachers experience watching children, between kindergarten and middle school, learn to edit themselves. I don't know why the video grabbed me so hard but, on reflection, I think it sums up what we're doing here in The 3rd Act Lab. Un-editing ourselves. I know we're in there - under decades of life and responsibilities and roles and human interaction and experiences, but it takes some hard word to find it. That's my goal here. Find our weird. Follow our weird... whatever it looks like. ❓❓❓Question: If you could un-edit one version of yourself now - who would she be? PS: I stitched @Gregisms video on my TikTok account. It's a bit of a ramble, but it's a few more of my thoughts if you want to listen

Power Season Replay (January 6) + This Week's Assignment
Hi, REPLAY: We had a wonderful Power Season Call today. The REPLAY is available now. ********************************************************* MICRO-EXPERIMENT: Our January Micro-Experiment is Meet Yourself On Paper. Look for the PINNED POST HERE and the full experiment with instructions: Meet Yourself on Paper Micro-Experiment. During this month we're building our 4 inventories, in depth. ********************************************************************* ASSIGNMENT: WEEK OF JANUARY 5, 2026: Work on a first pass of your 4 inventories in The Big Book of You, v2. The goal is to get your inventories started. From experience, I know as you work through this exercise, I promise, more and more ideas will bubble up. We will continue to add to your inventories through the month. As you work through your inventories, feel free to share what's coming up for you in this week's first PROMPT POST here. On today's Power Season Call we chatted about how these seemingly simple inventories do start to bring up feelings or thoughts or big ideas. We here to talk about them. For example, when I did my inventories and then used AI for some brainstorming, ChatGPT came back to me and asked me why I had stopped being adventurous. It took me back a bit, but it was right. Somewhere over the past few years I had stopped being adventurous. Knowing this hurt a bit... These are the kinds of things that might come up and we can talk about (if you want - no pressure)
