I read Marks latest article on finding the right “partner”. Mark, like myself, is a big fan of soft figures. He even discussed taking carved wooden figures to have a soft replica. He’s not the first I’ve heard of doing that. What do think of having a soft replica made?

Hi from Michigan. I am not venting yet but using my puppets as part of my show. That being said, I talk really loud almost yelling when doing the kids show. So I am really hoarse. Even with a headset I talk loud. The crying kid needs to stay due to daycare requirements verses removing them. So I get louder. Suggestions? Best. April

Hey fellow puppeteers! 🎭 We have some great local jams for balloons and face painting, but puppeteers tend to be a bit more… spread out. Would anyone be interested in a virtual puppeteer jam on Zoom—maybe once a quarter (or more if there’s interest)?A space to share bits, try material, talk puppets, and just connect. I currently attend:• Fellowship of Christian Ventilators (2nd Tuesday evenings – great group!)• Ladies in Vents (Sundays – harder for me with gigs) I’m in the Eastern time zone, and weekends are pretty much out for me the rest of the year.
