I’m trying to find my footing with dispatching, but I feel overwhelmed. I’ve watched the videos, especially Lesson III about funnels and contacting people, but I’m nervous about reaching out when I don’t feel fully confident in the logistics side of the business. I’ve handled my LLC and I want to build a website, but I still feel like I’m missing a foundational step. I just need some direction so I can move forward with clarity instead of confusion.

Step 1: Highlight ONE niche you want to research first. Persistence and willingness to learn - - Step 3: List the problems, fears and desires of your chosen niche - - 1. Finding profitable freight consistently Owner-operators don't simply need a load. They need a load that makes sense after considering: - rate - deadhead - fuel - tolls - time - destination - reload potential - operating expenses - driver hours - customer requirements - 2. Wasting valuable driving/rest time searching for freight - 3. Poor communication and delayed, lack of or missing dispatch information - 4. Taking loads that look good on paper but are operationally bad Examples include: - unrealistic appointment times - insufficient hours - difficult facilities - excessive detention - poor parking - problematic locations - difficult equipment access - low-paying destinations - bad reload opportunities - 5. Lack of reliable support when something goes wrong - Breakdowns, accidents, traffic, delays, rejected loads, appointment problems and customer issues don't conveniently happen between 9 AM and 5 PM. - Step 4: Identify the most significant problem and the strongest desire within your niche. What do you think these are? - The most significant problem is not simply finding loads.
