One or two?
Hi guys! I've been learning English for 3 years and a half, and I'm thinking about starting a new language! But there's one problem...I also want to get to a really high level in English...I'm somewhere between B2 and C1... My next language will be Spanish, I think. So, what do you think? Should I start Spanish in 2026, and do both Spanish and English? Or should I focus entirely on English?

Hello! As you already have a really good English, I don't think you should wait. I learned English and Portuguese at the same time so I can tell you can do it. When you're B2 or C1 I think you can do everything you need in that language.

🏫💻 Mini-Challenge: Language Schools or Learning Online — What’s More Effective?
📝 Your Task: This is an opinion + explanation challenge. 👉 Please: • Answer in your target language • Say which you think is more effective: language schools or learning online • Explain why (go beyond one sentence) • You can talk about motivation, structure, flexibility, speaking practice, cost, etc. • Try on your own first • Use AI as needed There’s no correct answer — just share your honest view. ❓ The Question Do you think language schools or learning online is more effective? Why? ✨ Example Answer (English) I think learning online is more effective for most people. It’s more flexible, and you can choose content that fits your level and interests. Language schools can be useful for structure and social interaction, but they often move too slowly or too fast. For me, online learning works better because I can practice more and stay consistent. ✨ Your turn. Pick a side, explain your reasoning, and express your opinion in your own words 💬

@Gabriel Silva it was difficult to say everything I wanted to, but obviously there are more things one can consider. I guess a combination of both would be great.

🎯 MINI CHALLENGE! What Do You Think of Duolingo? 🟢🦉
(Answer in your target language!) Alright everyone — HAPPY MONDAY! 😄 Today’s challenge is fun, simple, and probably controversial, haha. 👉 What do you think of Duolingo? Do you love it? Hate it? Use it every day? Tell us in your target language! I’m sure all of you know Duolingo — it’s one of the most popular language-learning apps in the world. My personal take? I use it - I find it fun! But only as one tool among many. Just like I always say: 🛠️ You can’t build a whole house with just a hammer. And you can’t reach fluency with just Duolingo. It’s a great little tool — but not the whole toolbox. 😉 Now YOUR turn! 💬 Example Prompt You Can Use in ChatGPT (Copy + paste this into AI if you want help writing your answer in your target language.) “Please write a short, natural paragraph in [TARGET LANGUAGE] explaining this idea: I like Duolingo, but I don’t think it’s enough to reach fluency. It’s a helpful tool, but you can’t build a full house with just a hammer — you need more resources.” Now it’s your turn!

Duolingo is good to start, but I think it's a little too repetitive. I would recommend it to anyone. Of course, you can not only use Duolingo and expect a lot from it.
