What’s up everyone! My name is Antoine, but most people call me Toine. I’m currently a CDL A truck driver, and I’m in the process of building my transportation business, R&M Transport Solutions LLC. My goal is to learn the business from multiple angles and eventually build something that goes beyond just driving a truck. I joined Dispatcher University because I want to understand the dispatching side of the industry, learn how to find and negotiate freight, work with carriers, and build a solid foundation before taking the next step. I’m big on learning, applying, and stacking reps. I’m here to absorb as much as I can, ask questions, connect with people, and eventually share what I learn along the way. I got my first carrier! He found me on Instagram and we had the sales call today, he signed the contract and sent it back after the call. Our onboarding call is Wednesday and he has a 40ft Hotshot. I'm super excited that this is all coming together. Now I don't feel like I'm 'starting a business' like the business is up and running really quick and im just here for the ride lol. I've only been in the paid course for a month so I know I have a lot to learn. If anyone has any experience with Hotshots, or hotshots in the Texas area, I'd love to pick your brain :)
