I’ve managed to book a couple of bush hog jobs for next month with my tractor. I’m Slowly Getting some work on my schedule just wondering what other people think. Ive told my clients. I charge 75$ and hour with a 2 hour minimum. The jobs I’ve got booked should take me about 4 hours on each job. I’m located in central Arkansas so does that seem like a far price or do I need to raise my hourly rate? Thanks for any advice / tips, or tricks!

My name is Anthony Smart I’m from a small town in Arkansas. I’m just starting a business and looking for some advice on how to get it off the ground. I’ve got a 2025 Mahindra 4550 that I mostly bought for my work here on my farm. I do have a brush cutter, Box blade, and a tiller that I’ve been using for some extra cash flow. But like I said I’m just starting out and looking for ideas on how to get this off the ground and turn it into a full time business.

Since I still have a main job, how do you guys handle answering the phones if you work a job where you can’t answer right away? My wife will be the one answering when I’m not able to. No problem there but… Do you guys have a separate phone or can you switch who the call is forwarded too? (Easily) Just curious what you guys do / what’s possible.
