In Loving Memory of Louis Jackson — “Pops”
Pops wasn’t just a dad — he was a full-time comedian with no off switch. If you were around him, you were laughing… even when you tried not to.He had jokes for everything — most of them good, some of them questionable, and a few that made you say,“Pops… you really just said that?” He could turn a quiet moment into a comedy show,a bad day into a good one,and a simple story into a legendary tale that somehow got funnier every time he told it. He was the king of one-liners,the master of “Boy, don’t make me get up,”and the undefeated champion of falling asleep in the chair —with the TV blasting —then waking up claiming,“I was resting my eyes!” Pops made life better, brighter, and a whole lot funnier. And even though he’s not here cracking jokes anymore…we can still hear his punchlines in our hearts. We love you, Pops —and we hope Heaven is ready for your jokes.
