White Elephant in the Room
I am not sure if this has been discussed, and I DO NOT PURPOSELY OFFEND OR DISCREDIT THE IMPORTANT WORK OF OUR ILLUSTRATORS. As @Harleigh Manske has mentioned in a video tutorial, 80% of a children’s book is the illustrations which are to captivate the readers’ attention. My discussion is regarding using AI artistic programs that will assist in creating illustrations. I specifically am referring to 1) Neolemon ( Consistent Character program) ; 2) Readkidz ( picturebook & and story creation) How I have created my stories so far : 1) They are from my own imagination 2) Used Ai to assist in mapping out the story as I want it to be told; Ai assisted me by asking me relative, poignant questions to move my story along the story arc ( Beginning, Middle, End) 3) I divided the story up to fit on a CANVA 32+ page template ( as @Harleigh Manske has mentioned in one of the trainings in this class) 4) used Ai (CANVA Ai and Neolemon) to help bring my illustration vision to life …. THIS IS A CHALLENGE due to not having much experience in promoting ( using the right verbiage ) I am not an illustrator, and I don’t have the money to pay an illustrator. I envy the author-illustrator inside many of you. Is there anyone else in my shoes, or am I just left to swim on my own? If this has been discussed previously, please link it here, so I can find it. Thank you
