Who's still in?!
Ok so term 4 is starting tomorrow! I'm kinda having mixed feelings here about our choir adventure wondering how and even if we continue ... who's actually still in it?! I'm still very keen to carry on... anyone else?

I Need Help
Hi all, I need someone to take over the batten here for abit. Next term cant happen unless we get 6-7 more people desiring to sign up for 10 weeks with Hana and/or be an official Board Members. The cost is $200 for the 10 week. As usual St Peters, Wednesday's at 7pm-8:30pm Presently I have a bad lung infection so I need someone to field calls and someone to do up adverts for Facebook etc. If everyone could reassure their commitment to being a board member and/or training with Hana, that would be encouraging and let me know how many more we need. Thank you🥰

Firstly sorry to hear you're so unwell Julie! I hope you recover soon!!! Hm how do I feel about this whole situation... I do agree with you Jackie - this platform could be slowing down participation, for me it does since I'm not using it for anything else and I'm not familiar with it. From what I see there's a huge difference for people to either just want to sing or to actually pull off a group that's aiming higher. The first group of people won't invest extra effort and work, it's a pastime and pure enjoyment (which is perfectly fine, no judgement). I think our starter group was at least half of that. We'd need more people from the other group. For me life gets more busy in spring and summer and whatever commitment I take on will have to fit onto my plate. I am very keen to keep going with our choir and I can take on a position - I do prefer teamwork though! I'm also not clear about the costs ... there is a limit. It feels like there's a lot to discuss!!! Too much to write here... we should meet up in person to talk. And maybe put up a fb chat?!

Music Journey 🎶 WE DID IT!!!!
Last night completes our 5 week (4 session) music jorney, leaving us all with a taste of how sweet we can all sound -big thanks to Hana gracious lead. As I said last night, over the two week break I will established an Incorporated Society. From the discussions from last nights the decision for the Choir Name has been found, the four logo are mock ups. 👌 love your comments💫 I will call people over the next week or so and also get that missed session money back to you all. Keep in mind when we head into our 10 week training (after the break) we will be learning specific sacred songs and also be performing. Also, I am after a Chair Person or Treasurer - so be great to have individual discussion on these types of things. Thank you Miss Georgia Brown for vounteering to be our Secretary. 💖 YOU ARE a treasure beyond measure! 😊

This Sunday
Check it out....? Holy Trinity Church Tauranga has a music gathering Sunday evenings. This Sunday 14th September at 5pm there are a couple of bands playing, one is "Jazz Funk" the other, I think is a local jazz band. "Take 5" This is a community of people who enjoy music, also an opportunity for people to share their talents in a supportive environment. Note: possible first live Performance for US (new Choir Name) to SING!!! There are drinks and toasty sandwiches available. My Wife (Robyn) are going to check it out.
