So for those of you that have nothing better to do at the weekend....
What about sharing the song you wished you wrote. Mine is My Funny Valentine by Rogers and Hart

@Terry Wellman Gosh what fabulous choices. I have added the to my playlist. All the above are great. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to listen to them a lot just to understand the sound selection and arrangements.πŸ’ͺπŸ’–
Another thing to do at the weekend because you have nothing better to do
I have a new musical phrase that I have come across it is anhemitonic pentatonic scale. 2 parts to this challenge: 1. Does anyone know what this means before looking it up. 2. Could you casually drop this phrase in to a conversation. (This is not my idea, but John Powell in his book How Music Works. An excellent read) Enjoy

@Sally Whitham Oh Sally it is so pretentious but could easily be slipped into a conversation by saying how pretentious it is.Ha ha. Great you had a look through.

I am learning so much people 😍
By way of celebrating international women's day I have a task...
The task, because we have nothing better to do on Sunday, is to see how many songs with female names in the title. Do this for a minute see how many you come up with. Put the number and perhaps link to your favourite track in the chat. (I found it is best to think about this a while before you time yourself because I only managed 5 in the minute 😜)

@Gam Bi I only did 5 in my first go in 1 minute. I thought it would be better to β€œoil β€œ your brain before trying the minute challenge. Great you had a go!

Mr. Sadaka you will be greatly missed. For those who knew him or loved his music ...or those of you so young that you have no idea who I am talking about. ...check out this amazing performance on BBC FOUR. https://youtu.be/MtIibcNDQ6o?si=pPxe4cVQm8SuGxep https://youtu.be/F1dmsufRGiI?si=xDVb3slVX1jT7dzi https://youtu.be/z9BgSey76eE?si=88lbmtVRR-egQ0ks https://youtu.be/tbqmHRfZHs4?si=nYGyboz6-H9tOoIw https://www.tmz.com/2026/02/27/legendary-singer-neil-sedaka-dead-at-86/?fbclid=Iwb21leAQPEyJjbGNrBA8TEGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHrmm-6rurPyI9TfmpvnWE0al2E1iLqVFlZ56kLFVWOI0rzzu32wjElWCsvGX_aem_XkILRyer68i_5XbZUD6t3g

So sad to see people who influenced our musical heritage are slowing leaving this world. Thank you Clifton for reminding us. πŸ’–
