That exercise blew my mind! I'm missing out on so many tropes! Homework is done!
Sales have stalled and dropped dramatically
I don't know what is going on, and I'm beyond frustrated. My sales have fallen off a cliff. I have four ads going, I've played around with them, they have result rates anywhere from 9-19%, the clicks and likes are there and I am making about a quarter of my spend back in sales. This has been going on for at least three weeks. I can't afford to bleed money like this. Anyone else in the same boat? If so, what are you doing to change things up? Did Amazon do something recently? I'm at the point where I want to turn all ads off and take a break.

@Kendra Johnston I'm sorry this is happening to you. I know this isn't the best time of year, but it's been so disheartening.
Ads audiences
Things seem to be going sideways with my audiences. Are there any comp authors left in romance/spicy? I’m not having much luck with broad contemporary romance targets. Wondering if I should start doing the films/tv then define further. It’s not something I’ve done as comps have always worked well but half my saved audiences now are obsolete!

I've had the same issues. I'll try playing around with my ad creatives.
Need recs for Fraud protection app on Shopify
Does anyone here use a fraud protection app for their Shopify store? I've been getting duplicate orders that I think are bots or scammers. I want to get something in place to block them before it gets out of control. Any suggestions or recommendations?

@Kris Groth It was in one of my author groups who had a similar issue.
Cover choices
Hello, Hive Mind, I’m doing up my own covers for the European market (Germany is now more than half of my total sales), and I have two covers for book 2 of my Supernatural Activities Division series that I can’t decide between. This is pulp-horror-military action-urban fantasy and is almost certainly intended for a male audience. Which of these two images would make the best cover? Image #1 - with gun. Image #2, no gun, bathing suit. I like the gun in the picture, but I also the extra magic in the other image, and the swim suit. Sex appeal sells, what can I say. Once I have decided on the image, I’ll play with Photoshop and work on the text and icons.

I'm late to this. They are both gorgeous, but my eye catches the second one right away.
