My latest piece
I wanted to share my latest painting (I'm very much a beginner) but couldn't quite work out how to do that so here goes. After tinkering with 'fluid art' I've been following the Karen Hale style where you 'pour' paints directly onto the canvas (you seem to do the same Rajan?). I have some fixing to do where the sunset meets the hills, but other than that it's pretty much done.

Hi everyone, I'm English, now living in New Zealand - we are 12 hours ahead (or 11 depending on whether you've put your clocks back recently). I absolutely would love to be involved in future, sadly I can't do either of those dates. Next time. Thanks for organising this Rajan. Love your work

Everyone introduce yourself
I would love to know from you all : - what kind of art you do? and : - 1 thing that you have struggled with as an artist? I'll go first! I'm an artist focusing predominantly on abstract textured paintings, but more recently I have decided to paint things like flowers and faces. The things I have struggled with the most as an artist is knowing when to stop working on a painting, as sometimes I keep painting and then end up ruining it!

Hi everyone. My name is Ann and I live in New Zealand. I retired last year and was terrified of what I would do all day after 40+ years as an HR consultant. I was a potter in my younger days but didn't feel that was my next move, so I went on a few art courses. I discovered Fluid art and loved it, but decided I really wanted to move towards abstract landscapes (I've watched a few of your Youtube videos Rajan and have been mesmerised. I've just finished 3 very colourful, fairly large canvases, but am not 100% happy with them. Perfectionism keeps getting in the way. But I'm hooked and absolutely in this for the long haul.
