Good Morning, I hope everyone is doing ok, we are finally up to 26 degrees in Alabama and I was wondering how everyone’s chickens are doing with the cold the last several days.

We're hitting 20 today and it's a nice change from being in the negatives! We also have 214 inches of snow so far.

@Nisana Miller he's an inside roo for now. He only lost a couple tips of his toes. I caught it early and brought him inside. He's a sweetheart and let's me check them daily. Unfortunately it's a part of life up here and he wasn't roosting with his friends for some reason. Not he roosts every night!

Introduction time!

Just a small intro, I currently live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and we just got about 2 feet of snow dumped on us. Not all of my chickens are allergic to the snow, some actually enjoy playing in it and come out during the day. It gets bitter cold here and I do not heat my coops. I have dealt and trapped many predators living out here in the woods. It's quite challenging but I do love being a chicken mama!!!!!!!!!!

I've lost count. I currently have 3 coops and 1 bachelor flock of 7. Chicken math is REAL!!!!!!!!!!
