@Bruce Dool agreed 💯 we are all connected regardless we can learn from each other or attempt in futility to suppose we are separated.
Man's Search for Meaning
I shared this in the community comments this morning and it brought a question to mind: Is there a Quote or Phrase that changed your life forever? Please share. My life changing moment was when I read this quote from the book Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl: “The last of the human freedoms: to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way. And there were always choices to make. Every day, every hour, offered the opportunity to make a decision, a decision which determined whether you would or would not submit to those powers which threatened to rob you of your very self, your inner freedom; which determined whether or not you become the plaything to circumstance, renouncing freedom and dignity...”―Victor Frankl,Man's Search For Ultimate Meaning If you're not familiar with his story and how he survived horrendous circumstances its well worth a bit of research into his life. When I read that quote, I realized in that moment that by taking radical responsibility for my life no-one or no-thing could make me feel anything I didn't want to feel. I could choose the meaning I wanted to give to what happened to me in my life in any given moment.

I say “vengeance is the lords” when I’m mistreated or done wrong or feel slighted. I say this so I can detach from my pride and egos desire for retribution. It reminds me of who’ve I’ve become. It reconnects me with who is control of sowing and reaping the karmic wheel and all the processes in nature and the universe that go on without a hitch. @Deborah L. Monroe thanks for posting and sharing your thoughts😇
Notice the Upheaval?
When you make a major decision in your life to *change* something major about yourSelf... --you're all in, you feel good about it, you're ready to go-- The upheaval beings. Things seemingly unrelated begin to fall apart. Car problems, unexpected bills, rocky relationship... This is where many people ditch the new commitment to change. I am noticing this all around me: my job is MORE demanding . . . Projects I am working on get MORE rough . . . seemingly anything to squeeze my time even tighter than before. FIRST OF ALL Just notice. Observe. "Hm...things seem to be rough now." I am even noticing my reactions. Instead of projecting images of how things are going to worsen (you know how we tend to fantasize calamitous drama), I project a perfect resolution. SECOND The closer you get, the more things make "shake." Double-down and forge ahead. Even one small step of progress is progress. Be the observer as the winds howl. Persevere. See yourself coming through the storm in the beautiful sun.

@Tom Brooks agreed 💯 from my research we place so much emphasis on the 3D world around us that as we make this new change we see our surroundings staying the same or like you mentioned getting perceivably worse. The truth is as long as we have in place the plan the desired outcome and faith and action then the 3D realm has no consequence towards where we are going. This new idea is the seed of change and all seeds (new ideas) require germination - a period for the roots to grow unseen by the natural eye (your current situation) Once the roots have taken and are receiving nutrients (your faith and action) before you know it the desired outcome (first leaves) begins to just start to happen from no where. Then all the alignment needed from sources you had no idea would be helping you (the flower buds) come to your aid and you are where you had envisioned you’d be. I’ve heard it in this way “when your tryin something new the universe will test you asking “do you really want this? Show me!” and that is that rocky start to the new thing. My understanding of this existence is what we see feel and touch is 10% and 90% is of the the unseen realm and the most powerful aspects of life. Once you get past that germination stage your off to a life long garden or Eden or like I like to say entrance to “Heaven on Earth”!

@Brenda Roberts I just watched a talk by Hal Elrod “miracle mornings” it has a story of a college student who’s father committed suicide and how she dealt with it. It’s a very insightful talk and I really think it may give you insight into another’s persons dealing with the loss of a parent. It’s on YouTube you should be able to find the video if you wanted to view it. Thought I’d share was very inspirational for me😇
How do you react when you are criticized?
I’ve reacted well when I’m rested, hydrated and extremely conscious of my thoughts and emotions. In these encounters I’ve received the information in critique and digested it and responded accordingly as opposed to reacting. Other times when I’m not balanced and things aren’t being perceived as going well I’ve reacted negatively with self serving blame and off based justifications.
