Want A Herb For Stress, Energy and Libido?
One of my favourite herbs for women: Damiana Damiana (Turnera diffusa) is one of those herbs I find incredibly easy to recommend. I blend it into herbal tincture almost every week for supporting mood, relaxation, vitality and libido, particularly when stress, mental fatigue or feeling “flat” has taken some of the spark out of life. I particularly like it for women who feel like they are running on empty, stressed and disconnected from their usual sense of vitality or desire. I can promote the feeling of more positive, uplifted and joyful. What does Damiana tea taste like? Damiana has quite a unique flavour. It is earthy, slightly bitter and herbaceous, with a subtle sweetness and a mild spicy quality. It's not as sweet and delicate as chamomile, but I actually really enjoy its distinctive taste. If you find it a little strong, try combining it with peppermint, lemon balm or a little honey. How to make Damiana tea Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried Damiana leaf to a cup of freshly boiled water. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain. Try one cup in the afternoon or evening, or whenever you want a calming herbal tea with a little more vitality than your usual relaxing herbs. Who might benefit? Damiana may be particularly lovely for women who: - Feel stressed, flat or mentally tired - Have lost some of their usual spark or vitality - Experience reduced libido - Feel disconnected from pleasure and desire - Want gentle nervous system and mood support And a safety note: Damiana is generally considered an easy herb to work with and doesn't have well-established medication interactions, but I would still avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and just double check with your natural medicine specialist if you have a seizure disorder or hormone-sensitive cancer. Have you tried it yet? Is it available in your country?

@Naturopathic coach Kelli I'll check next time I head out, I looked online at a nearby store and there is a "mix"... I'm in Texas USA. I'll be getting me some! I do love tea and I have a big tea drawer that I love to keep stocked!

What Do you Want To Know About Liver Health
So we are here to co-create. I am starting to put together a module about liver health and how it practically relates to your health and what you can do to help yourself. It needs to serve you meaning help you not stress you out so I need your input. Have a read through some of the questions and let me know what you think: - have you ever actually tried to support your liver health before? What did you do and how did it go? - what are the questions in your head that bother you or make you worried in regards to liver? - what kind of tips would you like to hear? - when it comes to learning about your health, what actually works for you - short videos you can watch while making dinner, a simple one-page cheat sheet on the fridge, a meal plan to follow, or something else? - What do you need to know about liver - hormone connection, food and eating, herbs and teas, daily habits and lifestyle, reducing toxins at home, mindset around health. Anything else you want to say ? AND A BIG QUESTION: What would make you think yes, this is exactly what I needed? I am one big ear and listening/reading.

My liver .. my amazing liver. Always working so hard for me. I would love to give it some love, help it, and give it a vacation so to speak. Last year, my husband and I did an olive oil/lemon juice/cayenne shot in the morning for a couple of weeks. But that's all I recall doing on purpose to help my liver. I look forward to learning and doing more positive things for my liver!

Hello everyone! I'm Angel and I'm in San Antonio, Texas. Right now, I'm all about old comfort foods, like rice and butter, and salty chips, I tell myself it's ok to eat all the chips because they are fried in avocado oil and not seed oil. LOL I heard about the group and Kelli from Ben's group, Your Empowered Path. Happy to be here and learn and grow and thrive again with everyone!
