Posting great content isn't enough to create engagement. (Sorry.)
Build an amazing community. Post awesome content. Members will show up and start commenting. That's how it works, right? 𝗪𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚!! The one thing I notice consistently across so many communities, are community owners asking "𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲?" We've been told that it's a simple matter of posting stuff that they want to comment on. But quite honestly it doesn't always work that way. The reality is that as a community owner, 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 in our communities. One thing I do in every single post is include a CTA (𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯) that tells my members exactly how to engage in the comments. I don't leave it open by saying "what's your thoughts" or "anyone else?" 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. Instead, I create something 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰, something 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗯𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱. For example: 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗧𝗔𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀? Drop a comment below and tell me how you teach your members to engage with your content... or tell us where you're getting stuck! 👇

@Rose Colbourne my last poll was " time to cast your vote, shoulf I post this pattern on etsy? " Or its something like what do you think. For regular posts its a mix of yes or no and open ended questions

Celebrate Good Times come on.... welcome on in creators 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾
Welcome to the Skool Homeroom! Start here... 🍎
This community is built for people who want to actually learn, implement, and grow — not just scroll and collect ideas. Before you jump into everything, take a minute to introduce yourself so we can get to know you. You can do this in one of two ways: - Create a new post under the Roll Call category and introduce yourself. - Leave a comment below this post with your introduction. A few easy prompts if you're not sure what to say: - Your name - Where you're from - What you're currently working on - One thing you hope to learn here - Your favorite Skool memory Then head over to the New Student Orientation module in the Classroom. That lesson will show you how everything in the community works and where to begin. As you engage in the community you earn points from other members responding to your posts and comments which will help you unlock your first mystery gift. Looking forward to meeting you. Roll call starts now 👇

Skool Homeroom is now on Facebook
No, nothing is changing here on Skool!! But I decided we needed a presence on Facebook since Skool advertises there. The fun, the community it's all here. But if you want to follow Skool Homeroom on Facebook, you're welcome to do so. I've got some ideas brewing for how to use it in the future!!
