Featured Book: The Splendid Tale of Figerly Bunny
This week i'm highlighting @Andrew Brooks heart-melting children’s book: The Splendid Tale of Figerly Bunny 💗 If you’re looking for a story that sparks imagination and feels genuinely meaningful, this one is such a beautiful pick—especially for little ones who love ballet, fairytales, and a little bit of magic. Figerly Bunny is a joyful little dancer who twirls through life with big dreams… until one magical moment turns everything into an unforgettable adventure. It’s the kind of story that feels cozy, dreamy, and perfect for winding down at bedtime. What makes this one extra special? It was inspired by the author’s daughter and her real stuffed bunny 🥹, which just adds another layer of heart to the story. ✨ Why this is worth checking out: - Perfect for kids ages 4–8 (especially little dancers 💃) - Encourages imagination, gratitude, and self-expression - Great bedtime story that parents will actually enjoy reading too It's on sale for $11.99 GET IT NOW ON AMAZON If you love supporting fellow authors, this is a great one to grab or share with your audience 💛 Let’s show this author some love this week!

8 Ways to Promote Your Book (Basically FREE)
A lot of people think you need a huge budget to sell books… You don’t. If you’re willing to show up consistently, there are so many ways to get your book in front of people without spending much (or anything at all). 8 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 (𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄) 👇 1. 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 - Start with the people who already know you. Post on your personal Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn—don’t overthink it. People want to support you, they just need to know your book exists. 2. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭-𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 - (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)This is one of the fastest ways to get visibility right now. Talk about your book, your story, lessons from it, or even behind-the-scenes of publishing. One video can bring in consistent traffic. 3. 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (SEO matters!)Amazon is a search engine. Your title, subtitle, and keywords should match what people are already searching for. This alone can bring in daily organic sales. 4. 𝐆𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐬 - Find podcasts that align with your topic and pitch yourself as a guest. Share your story, your expertise, and naturally mention your book. This builds authority and gets you in front of new audiences. 5. 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 & 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐢𝐠𝐬 - Look for local meetups, business groups, libraries, or events where you can speak or connect with people. Bring copies of your book or simply talk about it—real-life connections convert. 6. 𝐆𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 & 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 - Host a quick live training, Q&A, or story behind why you wrote the book. Lives build trust fast and give people a reason to check it out. 7. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 - Partner with other creators, podcasters, or community owners. Do guest trainings, interviews, or shoutouts. You get in front of a brand new audience for free. 8. 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 - Offer free copies of your book (digitally or paperback) to get it into more hands. This can help spark reviews, word-of-mouth, and momentum—especially early on. You don’t need to do all 8 at once. Pick 2–3 and stay consistent… that’s where the momentum starts.

Short Testimonials Wanted 💖
I have a quick favor to ask from all of you. I’m updating the About page for this community, and I’d love to include some real feedback from members who have been part of the journey here. If you’ve had a good experience in this group, learned something valuable, had an “ah-ha” moment, or taken action from something you learned here, I’d really appreciate it if you could drop a simple 1–2 line testimonial in the comments. 🚀 Nothing fancy is needed. Just something like: • What you’ve learned here • A takeaway you had from the content • Why you like being part of the community I’m planning to turn these into screenshots and create a collage that will live on the community About page so new members can see what people are getting out of being here. Your feedback helps others understand the value of the group and helps this community continue to grow. Thanks in advance — I truly appreciate all of you being here and contributing to the energy of this space. 🙌

Rich walked us through platforms like KDP, IngramSpark, Draft2Digital, Lulu, and more, breaking down the key differences between them and sharing insights from his own publishing journey. It was a lot of great information and a valuable look at how authors can expand beyond just one platform. If you missed it live, the replay is now available in the Classroom — go check it out! 📚 Also thanks to our audience tonight @Nick Nebelsky @Faith Adebayo @Prospero Duone @Rena Nicole @Jim Flach + others thank you for showing up and making these events great! 🎉
