Something slightly different for a couple of my GKs. Ten Tors- 2 days of walking as ateam over Dartmoor,up & down the tors,boys & girls aged 14-16yrs will cover distances of 40,50 or 60 miles depending on age.Dartmoor is a very tough terrain and weather can change ,if not prepared it can be very challenging & dangerous,,weeks & weeks of training over Dartmoor and in the gym,there’ll carry all their kit,food,tents etc .walking 1/2 the distance tomorrow,camp over night ,then continue on Sunday to the complete the challenge. So as some of you know I was upset after the weekends match. Today I went back to training and there was just a strange atmosphere. The coaches all seemed annoyed. There was a tension in the air. I was training with my dad for 40 mins and all I could hear was laughing between some of the players coaches shouting for them to stop. This annoys me as it takes away from the players that actually want to train. Just didn't seem like a team that was taking things seriously.
