Question
Hi, I want to compare 2 isntances of the same eq, how can I set up a macro that turns one off and the other on with the press of 1 button? I find it hard to hear small changes when im turning one off then quickly having to turn the other on. IM using Pro-Q 3.

Question about a digital compressor I have.
I own the API 2500 Bus Compressor, I noticed the even when its not applying any compression there's still a very minor increase in volume, around 0.2 db. Is this because there's a tiny amount of saturation being added just by running the sound through the compressor? I noticed the stock Ableton compressor doesn't have the same effect.

@Tom Baldwin It's interesting I never thought about it before, I guess if you used a big chain of analogue modeled plugins it would add quite a bit of gain overall.

@Mike Booth Yeah I just got it in Universal Audios 10 for $100 bundle, I've given it a try as parallel compression for my drums and it sounds so powerful when I crank up the make-up gain
