Lowering Resistance Tip ✍️
If you have a lot of resistance to leaving the house because of anxiety, depression, agoraphobia, panic attacks, OCD, etc., something that really helped me was understanding the importance of how you start your day. Sleep can feel like a reset, and when you wake up, you’re creating the momentum for the day ahead. So the night before, I’d choose one simple action to leave the house first thing in the morning. - Decide the action the night before. - Get up and do it regardless of what your brain says. - Don’t spend the morning negotiating with anxiety or avoidance — JUST GO! Even if it’s only for a few hours as you are still taking up territory and showing your brain a new direction. As Star would say: “If you start your day with compulsions, you’ll finish it with compulsions.”

What are the things that you’re working on right now?
Are you practicing spending time outside of your head? Learning to move forward with uncomfortable feelings? Changing your attitude from scared of feeling to being excited to practice? Cut out certain compulsions? Your value garden? Meditation? Write it in the comments PS: I want to create a tutorial for yall on the art of asking questions. There’s a way to ask questions to get better answers. Also I have a surprise coming up Love Star

Tell me what Coaching Call you are attending (important)
Hey Live your Life Gang! Today our coaching call was about how to coach yourself with a moment-to-moment practice to overcome: Anxiety Intrusive thoughts OCD Panic attacks Depersonalization Derealization Health anxiety 🎥 The recording goes up later tonight. I'm editing it to keep the best, most valuable parts so you get the most value per second watching it. 💪 First question for you. Which call is YOUR call? Is it the Monday or the Tuesday one? Comment it in the comments. Monday 12:30pm PT or Tuesday 7pm PT And second let's talk about a possible time change for Tuesday. I want to see what's best for all of you. Just a reminder: 7pm PT in California is 10pm on the East Coast, and noon in Australia. Which of these can you do? Tell me EVERY time you can make. The more the better! 🕔 5pm PT 🕕 6pm PT 🕖 7pm PT 🕗 8pm PT 💬 Drop one comment with your answers. For example: "Tuesday is my call! In for tomorrow, and I can do 5pm, 6pm and 7pm." If you can only do one time, that's okay, just tell me which. I'm excited to see you guys on the calls! Love Star

Question of the week ❓
Is there something you can share with the community that supports you and sets you up for a day of valued actions? My answer - Switching your alarm clock. My alarm clock creates an insane cortisol spike everytime it goes off. I understand that’s probably the point, but it doesn’t feel very natural or nice. I purchased a sunrise alarm that brightens your room slowly mimicking the sun. So you wake up naturally - no piercing alarm noise in your ear. You can pick an option to have noise once the glow is at its brightest, and I have chosen birds chirping. I’ve noticed my nervous system feel a little less chaotic now that I am waking up to the sounds of birds and a warm glow in the room. My mornings feel lighter with this simple switch.

@Star Taylor I have a similar realisation , it’s difficult to know when the videos you’re watching are actually explaining something useful or it’s just mental masturbation. Most the time it’s mental masturbation unless you instantly action what they are saying…
Daily Reminder
Sharing something that helps me daily. Star used to say, “Be your own best friend and coach yourself.” Moment to moment, ask yourself questions to remind yourself to stay on the path: ● Am I inside my head or outside my head? ● Am I being reactive to feelings and thoughts or proactive on valued actions? ● How do I want to spend my time? (Literally in the present moment to stop myself getting sucked into my head.) ● What do I want to grow? I find reminding myself of these can sometimes redirect me if I have fallen off the path into my own head. The power of good questions to redirect focus. Please drop below anymore questions you guys ask yourselves, to keep yourself on the path! 🌈
