Hey guys it's that time of the week to check in! How are your projects doing made any progress? I would love to see some screenshots!

I'm not gonna lie... I've only JUST started working on the shared player controller for PE because of IRL stuff going on so I'm definitely behind on that 😵 BUT I did merge a tiny PR this week: https://github.com/AndrewMatzureff/tgc-project-easter/pull/2

@Daniel Becerra of course! If there's ever a time where you feel like you might be ready to integrate some of your current prototypes into the main project and you wanna sync up to feel out how that process might look from a Git perspective just lemme know! The camera posing system looks amazing so far 🤯
Game Jams
Have you guys ever done game jams? I do them periodically to keep my skills sharpened and to push myself to make quick release projects every so often. Just in case if you don't know what a game jam is, it's a competition that puts a time limit on the making of a full game. Sometimes they are 24hr or 48hrs but the ones I like to join are usually 2 weeks to a month those feel more do able with a busy lifestyle! If you never done one and are feeling up for a challenge give it a try!

I've personally always been terrified of the thought honestly 😖 but maybe I'll try at some point after I have a few of this community's group projects under my belt!
Have you been experimenting lately?
What are some things you are experimenting with at the moment? Dosent necessarily have to be game development. Currently ive been trying out some overnight oatmeal recipes trying to get the best ratios for a delicious breakfast 😋

I've been trying my best off and on to enable continuous deployments of my Dollar Store Flappy Bird project on GitHub to itch.io but I've been ground to a complete halt because of this error where the unity test runner can't find my project settings file and I can't comprehend any reason why that would be the case 🙃

@Daniel Becerra I guess in theory I can worry about running tests at a later date and just skip the test runner step for now but it just makes me nervous knowing that if I continue on and I run into the same issue again during another step I'll have to address it regardless 😅 Also if anyone's curious, I've been trying to follow this guide: https://game.ci/docs/github/getting-started (the test runner I'm having issues with is from a set of tools made by these folks)
Board Game Designers!?
Who is working on a board game?! I am a board game designer working on a game right now called Cozy Lighthouse Keeper!

@Courtney Laschkewitsch this just goes to show I really do know NOTHING about board games 😂 first thing that stood out to me on that page was that it was 1-player (me realizing in that moment that video games aren't the only thing that can be single player: 🤯); super neat concept! Me and a friend of mine were literally just talking about the absurdity of seeking "recreational stresses" through games earlier today and now I must show them this 😆

@Courtney Laschkewitsch calling myself a video game designer would be an insult to video game designers everywhere 😂 I'm just a programmer (really an artist at heart whose media of choice happen to include code among them) and I simply aspire to make games!
