In 2020 I sold everything and moved to Mexico for 2 years. Built this entire business from there. Beach, laptop, questionable wifi. Which sounds way more glamorous than it actually was. But something happened down there I've spent the last few years trying to bottle. Being out of your normal life does something to your thinking. Not the "inspiration" stuff. I mean Actual structural change. You stop defending the business you built... and start seeing the one you could build. So I started running retreats and learning from @Alexander VandeLaar (the retreat master) to see if it would happen to other people too. Alexander and I have done many together at this stage. And I'll tell you what I didn't expect: it works every single time. Not "people left feeling motivated." I mean people's lives changed. Businesses rebuilt. Marriages, honestly. A few people walked in one person and flew home as somebody else. I've built a lot of things. Sold a company. Won some stuff. Hit some cool numbers. But creating these rooms and spaces for transformation are the best thing I do. Most fun. Most fulfilling. Most freeing. This is the real work. Everything else is almost boring ;) once you've experienced it. Anyway ... number the event & villa are locked in. Dates: booked. Villa: booked. Speakers: booked (a couple I'm not announcing yet, and you'll like them). Applications are open as of right now. 15 people. That's it. Also the investment for this retreat will be double next year. This year's investment is the "early bird" Two things we intend to go deep on: AI: not "here's 40 prompts" AI. The actual build. Agents doing the work you're currently doing at 9pm on a Tuesday. Abundance: because I've watched brilliant people install world-class systems on top of a scarcity brain and go absolutely nowhere. The tech is the easy part. The operator is the bottleneck. Always. Those two together are why these weeks hit the way they do. Fix the machine and the person running it.
